A twisted staff of iron and bone, forged through pact-fire, lined with teeth that weren’t human or animal. The Hollowpact called it Naithur’s Spine. Suddenly, the Hollowborns turn on each other, and they begin to snarl, tearing and devouring each other. “Let’s go!” Kai barks, and they sprint back to the pack house.

The ink flowed down the wall and onto the ground, racing toward the Original Knight. The Knight tried to swing his sword, but the black ink grabbed his ankles. "What... what is this?" the Knight gasped. "It's the 'Unfinished'!" I shouted, my voice echoing with a power that wasn't mine. "It’s the anger of every character you left behind! You want to be the Knight? Then lead the 'Deleted' back to the **X**!" The ink pulled the Knight down. It pulled the wingless dragon down. It pulled the faceless child down.

Like a small mountain crumbling, its enormous body crashed onto the mysterious water's surface with a thunderous sound. The Sun Knight's mask concealed his expression. He raised his hammer again. "Charging is forbidden in this place!"

The Hollowborn surged again, more ferocious, with their leader, a massive figure wreathed in black flames emerged like a grotesque mockery of a wolf, eyes glowing silver, teeth elongated and jagged. Raven felt the Hollow Blade within her stir violently, its whispers turning sharp, insistent, demanding. She could taste the power, feel it gnawing at her very soul, as it promised total dominance, and annihilation.

The protective heat emerging from him brought instant warmth to me.
