I turned and saw Harmony halfway up the ladder to my bed, half of her body crawling under my mosquito net. Her expression was grotesquely exaggerated, filled with fear as she stared at me. I let out a terrified scream and jumped upright from my bed in shock. The following scream came from Harmony, louder than mine, and then there was a crash as she fell off my bed, landing hard on the floor.

Weapons emerged from the pool of blood, and finally, the skeletons wobbled before Chase, numbering more than a dozen. Chase leaped onto one of the skeletons' shoulders. The skeleton crumbled to dust under his weight. With a wave of his sleeve, a gust of energy swept over the skeletons, reducing them all to ash. Chase turned his gaze back to the woman behind the tent. She was now giggling silently while covering her mouth. Smiling, he wondered aloud, "Are there any real monsters or ghosts around here?" The woman's movements were stiff as she slowly raised an arm and pointed to herself.

It isn’t until I smell the rooting carcasses that seem to smell like a dead animal that has been hit by a car and left on the side of the road do I start moving and with the moving I catch someone’s attention, some unwanted attention. As I crawl towards Ash, I see some movement to the right of me; something is crawling out of the pile of bodies. I continue to crawl towards Ash, only faster this time, and I reach him just in time. The beast emerges from the pile of bodies and steps out into the light. I scream in horror, what kind of monster is this, its skin a deadly grey that hangs off its body, with wrinkles covering its body. Its eyes bright yellow but they have a faded tint to them. When

His wrinkled face looked like it was crawling with countless wriggling worms. I shuddered and stepped back, whispering to Silvia, "Good thing I've got you. This place is terrifying." She snorted and suddenly shoved me forward, straight toward George. With an icy laugh, she said, "This pretty boy will make a great offering. You're going to love him." Before I could react, George gestured, and several eerie puppets stepped forward to pin me down and drain my blood. A sharp bell rang out, echoing through the night.

Lisa's eyes flash coldly, "Insolence! Who do you think you are?!" Dong!!! She then strummed her zither hard! An apparition of a skeleton leaped out of the sound wave straight at Piotr, its giant scimitar already reaching him! Piotr's face paled even as he promptly countered! Pow! As the skeleton was an apparition in the first place, it immediately vaporized from Piotr's punch. But to everyone's shock, the skeleton's scimitar sliced off Piotr's arm anyway!

Cassian staggered backward with the blade buried to the hilt below his ribs. Blood poured down his body. Black shadow burst from the wound like smoke escaping a cracked furnace. The thing inside him shrieked. Not human. Not Cassian. The street shook. Windows shattered. People dropped to their knees covering their ears. Cassian fell into the flooded street. Convulsing. Shadow ripped from his body in ragged waves. Clawing. Screaming. Trying to stay anchored inside him. The Bone Crown ignited. Lyra ran to him and dropped into the water.

“Even the parasite. It’s got a name, but it wants to be Kujo because that’s what you call it.” “Does it have anything like a gender? I hate using it.” “Guess you may use him, because his energy is sort of masculine.” “Why were you so horrified when you first saw him?” She searched for something on her phone and showed me a picture that froze me where I stood. It was a nightmarish mix of a monstrous skeleton dog with the Alien from the movie franchise. “That’s kinda what I saw,” she said, retrieving her phone to search for something else. “And this is what he would look like for you if he could.”

I was cornered. While the skeleton continued to advance on me, I shut my eyes and shook my head. “This isn’t real… This isn’t real…” The sound of bones rattling toward me was replaced by the sound of those very bones being kicked to the floor. I opened my eyes to see a large figure in the dark, wearing a hoodie with the hood up, standing over the skeleton as it writhed and kicked on the floor. It swiped a bony hand at the figure and slashed it in the thigh, but the figure retaliated by picking the skeleton up by its throat -- well, where its throat would have been, if it had flesh.

By the time I looked closely, I saw a throne and a skeleton dressed in an elegant robe was seated on it. "What the--" It's eyes suddenly glowed green and it's gaze was solely on me. I almost threw the lamp and ran back but I couldn't move no matter how hard I tried. I looked down to my legs and I found out rocks had already been molded to them. I stared at those eyes again, they reminded me of Levi. My breaths hung in my throat and my heart pounded like crazy. Something about this skeleton spelt doom! "Aaron Harrington." The Skeleton muttered, my eyes exclaiming in horror. "I've been waiting for you."

(Silver Skeleton) "Well, this is my first time seeing a silver skeleton…and a talking one at that…" "Dear lord!…BEGONE!!…it's a cursed soul!!…everyone steps back! or you will be infected by its curse!!…". (Bar) Sharing his thought to all, Bar took a few steps back as he throws bread crumbs at the skeleton. The others also follow him and jump further back.
