He set the glass down and crossed to me, stopping just close enough that I could smell his cologne dark, expensive, dangerously familiar. “Notebook?” he asked. I lifted the leather-bound book like a shield. My handwriting inside had grown filthier with every page he made me add. He took it from my hands, flipped it open to the newest entry, and read my words aloud in that low, commanding voice. “‘I vow to spread you open and taste how desperate you are for a man you shouldn’t want.’” My breath caught. I’d written it at 3 a.m. last night, fingers trembling, shame and arousal warring until I gave in and put it on paper.

After two days of high temperatures and intense boredom, he remembered the three books. Sam pulled out the one with the Mummy on the cover, because it looked the most innocuous. It was entitled the Ninth Pan Book of Horror Stories. He wasn’t the least bit prepared for what he found inside. The first three stories involved emasculation, murder and burning at the stake. In his fevered state Sam felt he was not only watching the characters’ suffering, he was experiencing it along with them. He flung the book at the wall and then hid it again, wishing he could burn it like Jinnot, the young girl in the third story who was burned alive.

Author's Pov Lily was busy reading the novel she just started yesterday, her eyes instantly widened when she read the next lines which left her utterly speechless. Lily had read a lot of smut books even some bdsm related, but this was the first time she was reading something so explicit and kinky, the male lead was a freak indeed, the female lead was a prostitute in the story and the male lead was trying to find a way to fill the void he was having from the last few months.

I asked, "Oh, so what is it then?" Trust me, I read just one paragraph when she sent me those kinds of stuff and it was full of..okay, I don't wanna think about it. Yuck! Roshini's eyes lit up as she answered, "Smut. We called it smut." She seemed to be drooling over the idea of reading it again. I was a hundred percent sure that as soon as she reached the room, she was going to change, eat, and then she would start reading her smut... yeah, smuts till late at night.

She picked up the books and inspected it. "You will read them Rose enough of your thriller and horror genres..." Damian ordered her. She looked at the books with wide eyes when she realised all of them were erotica and bdsm books... Damian chuckled at her reaction. "If you are like this after just looking at it then how will you react when we will try this..." He smirked evilly making her heart thump rapidly. Damian slid down beside her resting his head on his arm while she was leaning against the bedpost trying to read the books.
