Light & Darkness: Book 2

So he took advantage of being home on sick leave and spent whole days on his laptop, searching the Internet across the globe for the most reliable sources possible. Maria, after long conversations with her husband and Miguel, let herself be persuaded and promised that she would find some way to contact Nadir, but the search was more difficult than she thought. She was reading the back of Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen when Jacob asked her. “What do you say let’s read horror books? Like the ones we watched today?” “Eh? I’m scared. You go read first, then give me a summary, then I’ll decide. Haha!” “Roger!” as he picked The Dunwich Horror and Others by H.P. Lovecraft and IT by Stephen King. They finished book shopping, it was around three in the afternoon when Jacob invited her to go somewhere else.

Shaking her head, she said, "But aren't you only like that because you idiotically accepted an accursed book from a nobody? You said, you don't even believe in ghosts before you got that." He sighed and took out the book which always appeared inside his pocket for several months now. The book was giving off a mysterious vibe due to its black worn-out cover featuring a faceless monster. Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

Lurking In The Dark - Book 1

"Come here now." Did anything touch this man at all? I couldn't care less. Annoyed, I pounded the backpack in front of his chest and hoped that at least a bit of it had gone away, but he simply put it on the floor at his feet and pulled two flashlights from his side pockets. A large one that you could use to break in the skull of a prole in an emergency and a small one that would only have been more girlish if it were pink instead of black. Still, I took it. Little light was better than no light at all.
