“He’s dangerous.” “Do you have any info on him?” I stop next to the pen, watching the horse pace back and forth. The horse isn’t in the best condition, but he’s still strikingly gorgeous. Tall, jet black, with only a tiny band of white around his back hooves, he reminds me of Phoenix. “He’s a thoroughbred?”

” Tonette tapped me on the shoulder while pointing in front of me. I jumped in panic when a creature I had just read in the book confronted me. Now, I can see its true form. ”W-Werehorse! Alpha Conan’s POV The horses whinnied softly as we entered the palace stables. Warm air, thick with the scent of hay, leather, and animal musk, wrapped around us, chasing away the chill of dawn. The torches flickered along the wooden walls, casting gentle shadows over the horses in their stalls. Henry’s small hand tightened around mine, his excitement trembling through his little fingers. “Which one do you want to see first, buddy?” I asked, bending down to meet his sleepy eyes.
