The second man walked calmly toward Alice, then bowed briefly while his cold blue eyes stared at her. "Good evening, printsessa." I was grateful they weren't speaking Russian again. Veronica's POV: Draco's eyes, once filled with warmth and tenderness, now burned with an unquenchable thirst. His lips curled into a twisted smirk, tainted with the taste of fresh blood. There was no recognition in his gaze, only a primal hunger that threatened to swallow everything in its wake. I felt a lump forming in my throat as I struggled to find my voice.
