But none of her friends or colleagues was so childish they'd send a masked delivery guy dressed like a hitman just to scare her—unless… The thought was too unsettling, so she firmly pushed it to the back of her mind, licking her suddenly dry lips as she forced the words out of her parched throat, "who are you?" "My friend sent me," Ghostface replied, offering no other details. Camille didn't know what was more disturbing—the dead look in his glassy eyes or the fact that she couldn't see his lips move beneath the freaky mask whenever he spoke.

AIDEN "Have you found anything?" I ask the Ghost, holding a tumbler of whiskey in one hand as I gaze out at the star-studded sky from the balcony. "Nothing suspicious yet," the Ghost replies, his deep voice resonating through my earpiece. The richness of his tone seems almost artificial, which isn't surprising given the person's efforts to conceal their identity. As someone known only by their alias, their true nature remains a mystery. For all I know, a woman could be orchestrating operations from behind the scenes, utilizing advanced voice alteration technology to disguise her voice. I shrug, indifferent to the Ghost's gender, as long as they deliver results.

We were halfway through the list when the lights flickered again. “Not a grid hit,” Hacker said before I opened my mouth. “Someone’s piggybacking off the climate control to talk to our cameras. They’re not in. They’re close.” Ghost peeled out with two hunters to walk the ducts. Blade moved to the door like he might catch code with his bare hands. I kept going, because momentum is a weapon too. “Next,” I said, and the door opened on a face that didn’t belong in this room.

His shadow. The files were meticulous, surgical in detail, yet something crucial was missing. “No face,” I muttered, scrolling faster, more desperate. “Where is he? There has to be something.” But every video, every still frame cut off before Dennis appeared. Even his voice was distorted in the recordings, masked by layers of static and manipulation. Whoever he was, he had scrubbed his identity so thoroughly it was as if he was a ghost. Halstrom stepped closer, studying the screen with the same calculating coldness he always carried. “We may not have a face, but this…” He tapped the monitor. “…this is closer than we’ve ever been. Every monster leaves a trail. We just found his.”

Rick uttered. I simply covered my mouth with both hands. The figure was infused with cybernetic padding and dawning a emotion less face. “Cynosure,” Ghost fire addressed with an uneasy volume emitting from her voice. “Lets the fun begin,” the designer said with a grin.

“Didn’t you say there aren’t many people out because it’s late? Why are you afraid of being conspicuous?” “With faces like ours, even if there aren’t any people on the road, we’ll be able to attract ghosts too. It doesn’t matter if we attract humans, but we can’t draw the attention of ghosts. Female ghosts love attractive faces like you the most.” “Nonsense. There are no such things as ghosts in this world.”

"Ghost Shadow Curse. This is the mystical technique of the Brennan Secret Sect. Its power is unimaginable. You're dead!" The ghostly face roared and clawed its way toward Chase in attack. There was a chilling wind. The entire area was like hell on earth. It was frightening. The ghostly face kept floating around at lightning speed. It was difficult to catch it. "Not bad. Unfortunately, it's far weaker than I am." Chase burst out with a laugh and waved his right hand. Red flames appeared. They burned furiously as if wanting to incinerate everything in sight. The dark mist vanished because of the flames.

That was when I finally got a clear look at her face. Well, I wasn't sure how I should put it… If I could ignore her missing facial features, she might have been quite pretty. Quietly, I took two steps back. When the female ghost noticed that I was backing away, she crouched down on the spot and tried her best to radiate friendliness while cautiously scooting toward me. "Don't be scared, little human. I'm a nice ghost," she gently said. "Come here, and I'll feed you some thigh meat."

Her scalp feels cool and she almost screams when she sees that face clearly. It Is a woman, But what a woman That is! The entire face has no human shape, half of the scalp exposes showing tangled and bright scar! The left eye has no eyelids, red eyeballs hanging on the outside, a nose with only two small black holes, and the lips are disfigured, revealing half its white gums. It's totally a ghost from a living horror movie! Nina Morrison instinctively covers Nelson's eyes, then remembers that Nelson is still wearing the patch. She calls the stunned Sarah Gray, "Sarah, take Nelson out!" She doesn't know who this woman is, but the first thing she has to do is to protect her son.

I pushed it down a little and slowly opened my eyes to see if the ghost was gone from the screen, and I was relieved to see what I was looking for. There was silence all around, and the ghost was no longer visible, but I kept the blanket to my nose because I now have trust issues and can't predict when the ghost will appear again, scaring me to death. I have noticed that they appear after the silence with horror faces and ear-piercing screams. My chest was pounding in anticipation, and I was looking forward to the scene when I felt a hand on my shoulder, causing me to drop the blanket and shriek in complete terror.
