He wanted to run, but what awaited him was an even more terrifying world. She quickly stood up, furrowing her brow as she asked about the situation ahead, "How far does this path go?" "It's quite far, and it takes at least half an hour to finish walking. Our haunted house is designed quite complexly; you could say it's a combination of a haunted house and an escape room. You need to solve puzzles or find switchs to move to the next scene. There are over a dozen scenes in the haunted house! The fastest completion record is half an hour; most people take an hour to get out."

So I paused and went upstairs to get a headset. I was going down when I heard a voice from the kitchen. Shiloh's watching the video? She might have seen with the laptop open. And out of curiosity, she played it. Since it's loud enough to hear. I walk closer to the kitchen and listen to the video. I don't know how long it has been playing. But I listened to it. I heard every word of the woman. I couldn't believe it. The woman speaking is no other than Mrs. Hansen. I didn't see her face that day she was killed because her face was full of blood.

She made a list of things she needed Lisa to bring and sent it along with the address. Then, Adrienne washed her face, went downstairs, and got into her car. *** "What's going on? What are we doing here?" Lisa asked Adrienne as she followed her, carrying two big bags in her hands. Adrienne ignored her and walked quickly towards the entrance of the building. It was a large, white mansion with a sign that read "Joygood Memorial Park". Lisa had a bad feeling about this place. It was a private cemetery for the rich and powerful, where they buried their secrets and scandals, not just their dead.

“W-Who is it?” It was 8:00 p.m., so it was a safe time. Also, the inside of the hut was a safe zone. Ghouls should not be able to access this area. “Ms. Graves, I’m the town’s vegetable vendor, Simon Reeves. I brought your ingredients.” The voice was warm and youthful, but it also carried a trembling note of fear. Thoughtful, I sat up. I quickly guessed that the person outside the door was another player. In such a horror game, players not only had to be wary of ghouls. They also had to beware of the other players.

"As your fiancé, I promise... I'll fix you right up." ... [Nightmare Scenario: Midnight Manor... Activated] [Survival Time: Seven Days] [Current Players: 40/40] [Death is Eternal Oblivion. Have Fun.] A robotic female voice echoed in the void. It sounded cheerful. It was terrifying. I blinked. I was standing in front of a huge Gothic manor. Black spires clawed at the gloomy sky. Gargoyles with twisted, screaming faces crouched on every corner. Their eyes glowed an ominous red.

I stayed silent. "The apartment where she had that accident was a company unit assigned to her," Stan said. "It's been empty ever since the accident. Later, the company wanted to take the place back, but the staff they sent over all got badly spooked. Over time, rumors that the place was haunted started to spread." He looked at me, his gaze sharpening. "But that changed when you showed up. When I first saw your rental address, I was shocked. I honestly thought you'd be running out of there in tears within three days. But you didn't.

But of course, fate was cruel. There was only one empty seat left. Right next to him. I sighed in defeat and sat down. Travis passed me a cold bottle of water without a word, his fingers brushing mine. My heart stupidly skipped again. “Did you guys know,” said Axl, one of Seth’s loudmouth friends, “that there’s a haunted mansion up the hill? Locals say it’s cursed.” “Cursed like what?” Adison asked, wide-eyed. “Like… couples who go there either break up—or come back engaged,” Axl said dramatically.

She gave the man a sharp once-over, then said evenly, "Other than this house, everything around here belongs to me. Don't step foot into my territory. If you do, I'll kill you." She turned on her heel, ready to head for the last villa at the far end. But the man suddenly called after her. "Don't go in there! There are man-eating zombies inside!" Hayley stopped mid-step and glanced back. "How do you know?" "I saw them." His voice was firm. "Villa Ten had a party the other night. A bunch of kids stayed up all night drinking and messing around. Around dawn, we heard screams. A lot of them ran out bleeding, but none of them made it far. They were all dragged down and torn apart."

Scott said quietly, nodding at me. And just like that, they vanished before my eyes. They had already suffered enough in life. How could they die all over again because of me? I crouched on the ground, crying so hard I nearly fainted. The familiar mechanical voice rang out once more. "Congratulations, player. You have successfully cleared the horror game instance "Family of Four." Reward: Revival. Preparing to transport the player back to the real world. Countdown begins: 10, 9, 8..."
