She left the stall to get a closer look and watched Kai as he took a step toward Jacob.
"Well, you see, I read this first page and I think you can do better," Kai teased. "So I think I'm going to do you a favour and tear up this one."
"No, no," Jacob protested.
He looked like he was about to cry as the torn pieces of artwork left Kai's fist and covered him like freshly falling snow.
"I'll let you know what I think of the next one tomorrow," Kai said.
"Kai, why do you have to do this?" Jacob cried. "Why me?"
