FALLING FOR MR FROST
“I’m done with that. Tell me what you want Jackson. Tell me you want me to leave, and I’ll go. But if there’s any part of you that wants me to stay—”
I didn’t let him finish.
Instead I leaned in and kissed him.
It was nothing like the kiss at the festival. This was deeper, desperate, terrifying and absolutely certain all at once.
Frost made a sound against my mouth—half gasp, half relief—as his hands slid into my hair, pulling me closer like he was afraid I might disappear.
His lips were cold, but they warmed against mine as the kiss deepened.
I could taste winter on his tongue, something crisp and fresh like snow, and underneath that something that just felt like—him.
