How Is William Afton Still Alive Novels & Stories

Estelle POV “Be careful how you talk to me, boy. I killed my brother and his wife; I can kill you too and get away with it, so keep your mouth shut,” Adolf threatened, standing close to William. Then he walked away from him. Adolf would have never imagined what happened next, as William had suddenly stabbed him in the back with his dagger. I watched as William twisted the knife, plunging it deep into his back. I waited for Shadow to come out to defend his master, but Shadow wasn’t here. Adolf fell to the floor, but William didn’t stop there; he continued stabbing him with rage clear in his eyes.

This was no coincidence. After searching nonstop, I finally found a suspicious figure at the back door of the rehabilitation center. I recognized him at a glance. It was Afton. I went straight to Mia's family residence. Afton was drinking tea lazily. When he saw me, he gave me a fake smile. "Why, Ryan... What are you doing here? Couldn't make it out there, so you came back to beg Mia for forgiveness?" I stared at him. "Are you behind Madam Lawson's death?"

William asked catching his breath. "Y-you fucking died, okay?" Julian replied still keeping away with the others. They all had this doubtful look on their faces and reactions concerning him. Because there was no way possible he could've resurrected just like that. What even made it more puzzling was the wound in his chest healed back, so Alisa turned and stared at his plucked out heart on the floor then back at him. "How the hell am I alive?" William asked once again observing his chest. "Unbelievable," Willow mobled drawing nearer.

His heart skipped a beat. “Which Audrey?” His lips trembled. “Audrey Sterling.” For a moment, it felt like the world stopped moving. He tried to process it, but his head was blank. ‘How could Audrey die?’ He had been planning how to go meet her. To confront her about Stars Shelter. To use it as leverage into making her his bride. “And Ashley Morgan?” He asked, his tone heavy. “No news about her yet, sir. But if truly Audrey is dead....then Ashley Morgan is too. Because they are the same person.” William replied.

"Five years. In the past five years, I have been looking forward to seeing him come back. I thought..." The old lady once thought William was probably no longer in this world. If he was still alive, how could he rely on the Shen and Long families? How could he not find such a powerful force? Five years, not five days. If he was alive, even if he lived in the Arctic, it wouldn't take him such a long time. There was no news about him. Therefore, in the old lady's eyes, William had been a dead man for the past five years. She couldn't bear it at first.

He was sure she would, sooner or later try something. “Curiosity?” Hansel asked with surprise. “Yes, curiosity is all that it is.” Moss replied. “We know for sure that William is dead. The agency has closed his file. The investigation has concluded. There is no way he could be alive. Besides both of his aids saw the building burn down and they are sure he was inside at that moment.” “Supposing he was still alive, I assume it wouldn’t be so hard for you to locate him after all,” Hansel asked.

I continued. “Just like with Fallon…not exactly, but they stole her father’s lifework too and almost killed him,” Ben commented. I nodded, agreeing with him. “William’s wife was killed and then he went in hiding and in some way made it seem like he was dead too.” “That explains why there’s even a death certificate for him,” Ben said mostly to himself. “Damn…” It was a lot to unpack.

Carla asked as she watched William turn around the moment they entered the living room. "I'm going out for a walk. You should go to bed early." William said. He just wanted to go to the backyard. As he stood by the wooden tombstone that Crista had built, William's heart ached. He recalled that Crista had gone crazy living here and had tried to commit suicide, and that William had forcefully kept her alive. But she had disappeared in the end. He was the reason behind it all. Would he ever get the chance to make it up to her?

She never wanted to return to that place of sorrow again. Later, she fell ill and forgot many things. "As long as you're alive! As long as you're alive!" William also choked up, looking at the couple who had vanished years ago, now returned. He couldn't be happier! With them alive, he could die in peace. He had held on this long because he wanted to tell everyone that his daughter had not betrayed anyone. His daughter had simply been schemed against. "Get up, both of you get up." Only by living could they do what they wanted to do.

--- A Dangerous Game The next morning, Thalassa sat across from Fiona in the conference room, arms crossed. “So, let me get this straight,” she said. “William Kingston, the man we all thought was either dead or locked away, is very much alive?” Fiona nodded. “And you want to track him down?” Thalassa continued. “Yes.” Thalassa let out a sharp laugh. “And here I thought we were finally done with this nightmare.” Fiona rubbed her temples. “If William is still in play, it means we’re not safe. He still has resources. Connections.”
