How Long To Write A Novel Novels & Stories

Dear Reader, I really hope you enjoyed this 42-chapter story that spun for over three months on Goodnovel and sadly but gloriously it has come to an end. An end that I believe I delivered quite well, having penned the final words of this story. The idea to develop it actually began way back in 2017 when I was still in high school and I'm finally glad to have been able to craft it much to everybody's liking. This has been a story that has been five years in the making. This went from a five page 2000 word document that I wrote with the help of a few friends the a well over 40,000 word novel. At this point, I don't have anymore of the story written out. This is due to a career change that takes up most of my time. I hope to continue writing this story and I'm even thinking of a possible sequel, however the process will be much slower than planned.

She also felt that for her latest novel, she didn't want to put out a novel with a large number of pages. "Maybe three months. I don't want to make a thick novel with many pages. For my latest novel, I want to try new things, and want to make it a special edition. If the reader's response is very good, I will think about continuing with a more detailed edition." To my dear readers, I want to begin by expressing my deepest gratitude to you, even though there may not be many of you. Your support, no matter how small, has meant everything to me. When I first set out to write "Blinded Dreams," my goal was to craft a unique storyline that would resonate with those who read it. Being able to explore my characters through their own points of view was an eye opening experience, and I hoped you loved tuning into Dalton, Kendra, and Jake's thoughts just as much as the lead's, Hollis and Whitney's. Despite this book taking five months to write, a month less than two of my other novels, "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" is by far my longest book, nearing 600 pages. I couldn't avoid it since there was so much I wanted to cover, and there are no regrets.

I am not a writer, so I have no idea how hard it is to write a decent book. "I don’t know what to do. Every time I try to write anything, the romance will sound bland and emotionless. The deadline is in two months. Should I give up and write another book? Because it makes me upset that I can’t be able to write anything I like anymore," I sigh and look around. I contacted the publishing house immediately to send my whole novel to them. My novel is not that long, so my editing process didn’t take too long, plus I focused on that in order not to waste the day. The novel has 52 chapters including the prologue and epilogue.

I didn’t set out to write something that addresses these issues directly, but they became a part of her world as I planned out the novel. What are your long-term plans for the novel?
