How Old Was Cedric Diggory When He Died Novels & Stories

“Cedric, how old do you think I am?” “I don’t know.” He says distractedly. “Early 20’s.” It takes him a moment to realize I’m staring at him. “What? Oh goddess, are you underage?” His eyes widen. “Were you underage when you got pregnant with Kenna?” He’s rushing to me, taking my hands. “Baby, I’m sorry, I thought you were older. I certainly never meant to leave you alone in the world as a juvenile with a child.” I frown at him. “Cedric, I’m not a child. I’m nearly 70 years old.”

There was only one window and I had to get out of this place. “No way, I did not try to kill you!” Cedric pinched the bridge of his nose. “It was just simple magic that causes a fever. Things got worse because of stress. I am sorry I took it so far but why would I want to kill you? We are family.”

"I... I had to m- make it back. I h-had to tell you... w-here they took h-her." "Talk to me," Kincaid said. "North London," Cedric said. "I h-heard them say it. They thought... I was d-dead." "You did well, Cedric," Kincaid said, placing a hand on his shoulder and standing up. He nodded at the ladies waiting outside and they hurriedly came to carry Cedric out to the hospital. When they were alone again. Liam smirked, "Enough proof now?" Kincaid growled.

I stepped away from him. “But I can’t kill you because I want you as my Luna when I claim the Alpha’s throne. You’re such a clever girl. Had it been a real officer instead of me, what you said would have made him back off immediately,” he said. “Beauty with a brain is such a sensual combination.” I frowned, peering at him. Cedric studied in the assassination department at Helxton. I expected to run into him on campus someday, but today was the worst possible day for it to happen.

“A bloodline that could rule over both. He experimented, tested, twisted magic in ways that should have never been possible. And when the Order found out…” He paused. “They killed him,” Nicola finished for him. Cedric nodded. “Your father was young. He was forced to watch as the Order executed his own father. He had a choice - turn against them or prove his loyalty. So, he did the only thing he could do.” “He buried the past,” Nicola murmured. Cedric’s gaze was heavy. “Yes. He saved me to that day” Nicola felt sick. Everything she thought she knew about her family was unraveling.

Cedric stood in the courtyard, lips moving soundlessly. Just hold on. I’ll come for you. I nearly smiled. Three days later, word reached Cedric that someone had died in Blackmoor. By the timing, he took it for granted that the Blackmoor Alpha heir was gone. He hurried to the mourning hall with Sylvie at his side, ready to offer condolences. But the moment the coffin was opened for final respects, he stopped dead. The one lying inside was not the Blackmoor Alpha heir at all. It was an old man, white-haired and still.

The shadow behind every nightmare. “You took everything from me,” Cedric said, voice trembling. “My father. My childhood. My innocence. You’re the reason I sold my body in alleys. You’re the reason Lily stopped speaking for six years. You’re the reason my mother is dead.” The man smiled, blood trickling down his neck. “Yes. And you’re too weak to do anything about it.”

“We didn’t know if you would ever wake up. Your injuries were life-threatening, and whatever Vivian gave you, it temporarily disconnected you from your wolf.” “Is Vivian—” “She’s dead,” Cedric says bluntly. “She died far too easily. But not before she answered a few questions.” “I see.” I don’t know what else to say. I feel so tired. “Can I go to sleep for a while?” Cedric and Harriet exchange a look, and the latter nods. “I’ll bring up some food first. You can sleep after you eat.” Cedric sits by me after she leaves the room. “I thought I was going to lose you. I never want to go through that again.”

I’ll have no regrets. I walk out onto the porch where I last saw Edric, but he’s not here anymore. Lately, he’s been taking walks around the compound, enjoying the children and wolves. The wolves here are happy, but more and more it feels like we don’t belong here anymore. Time moved on without us. I turn around and go back inside to wait for him. He’ll be back eventually. Cedric died ten years ago, and Stephen followed soon after. I miss the days when he’d come bouncing into our place uninvited, carrying a basket of his muffins or a pie or some other baked goods.
