System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

System Of Blood: To Crave Survival

When we got inside, it was chaos. It was a massive warehouse that had been converted into something like an arena and a market. The center was a massive cage, maybe thirty feet across, with metal bars that went from floor to ceiling. Around it were rows of benches, already filling with spectators. And along the walls were stalls where Hunters traded gear and information, their voices creating a constant buzz of negotiation. "This way," Whitney said, leading us toward the benches. We found seats near the back, high enough to see everything but far enough from the cage. I could see rust-colored stains on the arena floor, and the people leaned forward with anticipation.

The Broken Princess at Alpha Academy

The Broken Princess at Alpha Academy

MAEVE POV We are herded toward the Obsidian Arena the next morning, before the sun has even risen. The arena looks like a massive crater, its walls made of polished black stone. It is designed so that no wolf can climb out once the gates are locked. In the stands circling the arena, academy officials and hundreds of senior students are already waiting. They are ready to watch bloody entertainment. On the main podium, Horgus stands tall. His single eye sweeps over us coldly.

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

The Forgotten Heiress: Rise of The Lycan Queen

She walked forward, one step at a time, until she emerged into full light. The Silver Arena yawned before her, a vast oval of scorched, cracked stone, littered with forgotten bones and the ghosts of old screams. Dust curled up from her boots as she stepped into its heart. The crowd erupted. Howls. Jeers. Shouts of disbelief. She was no stranger to them now. But this time, some voices called her name. Across the arena, her opponent waited. Dren Varok, champion of the Northern Fangs. A beast of a man, already half-shifted—fur bristling across his shoulders, claws extending from thick fingers, teeth too long for his mouth. His amber eyes locked onto hers with a predator’s contempt.

The Endgame Chronicles

The Endgame Chronicles(The Apocalyptic Queen Theresa)(Supreme Survivor In The Zombie Apocalypse)

"The beast battle is one of Ark Two's biggest attractions. They hold it once a year. A hundred contestants are thrown into the arena with ten zombies. Whoever survives to the end wins. "The rest of us get to place bets on dark horses. If you pick the winner, you take the entire prize pool that everyone else bet." As he finished speaking, the arena came into view. It looked eerily similar to an ancient colosseum. Hayley's eyes widened as she saw rows of people standing in formation below, with iron chains locked around their necks and ankles.

This is by far and beyond the best book I've read in a long time! It kept me so engaged that I had a lot of sleepless nights and I had to force myself to put it down. If it was in book form, I would buy it in a heartbeat! Thank you Hugh White for writing and publishing this book. it's the story of a

Worth the read, well written and has a decent plot. The characters generally have a lot of depth, although one or two have been a little strange, maybe written that way on purpose. The FMC sometimes feels a little too cold, and vengeful, but again part of her character... I will continue reading!

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

The Nether Alchemist: Tales of a Necessary Evil

He knew the strategy he was going to employ would not fail him! A loud horn buzzed and the lights over his head turned green, it was time. He walked out of the lobby and onto a hallway leading back to the arena. The fighting arena was a raised platform about ten feet off the ground. The floor of the arena was pure concrete slabs connected to each other, forming a perfect square measuring a hundred meters on each side. In the middle of the arena stood the announcer and an umpire. Norval headed for a flight of stars that gave him access to the arena. He scaled them slowly, his feet synchronizing with the chants of the crowd.

The Cursed Alpha's Slave

The Cursed Alpha's Slave

THIRD POV: The night of the second selection arrived with a sky full of stars and a moon so full it seemed to pulse with ancient power. The arena had been constructed in the heart of the Republic's ceremonial grounds—a massive circular cage forged from reinforced silver-lined steel, designed to contain even the most enraged alpha in their wolf form. Around it, tiers of seating rose into the night, packed with pack leaders, council members, and representatives from every territory in the Republic. Torches ringed the cage, their flames dancing in the cool night air. The atmosphere hummed with anticipation.

Too Late, Alpha: The Mate He Never Wanted

Too Late, Alpha: The Mate He Never Wanted

Derek walked next to Vivian, occasionally interjecting comments into her argument with Jasmine, which only made things more heated. Rowan kept his arm around me as we walked, occasionally pressing kisses to my temple or whispering something that made me smile. Shane walked on my other side, looking relaxed and unbothered by the chaos around us. As we turned a corner, the arena came into view. And it was massive. “Woah,” I breathed, stopping in my tracks to stare. The arena was enormous, easily the size of several training fields. There were multiple sections set up for different events like sparring rings, obstacle courses, relay tracks and others. Rows and rows of benches surrounded the ent

"Beat the hell out of them, sunshine." A grin tugged at my lips. Flipping wolves had no idea what I was going to do. ~*~*~*~*~*~ The arena was huge. It took up most of the basement area of the villa. I was expecting something a little more like a crappy octagon with a plastic cage. This was an honest-to-goodness arena, decked out with bright lights and legitimate stands for the crowd. And boy, was there a crowd!

Promised to The Don

Promised to The Don

Great call. The arena floor is arranged in levels. At the centre sits the fighting pit, what everyone here calls the Ring. It’s a square platform surrounded by thick ropes and metal barriers, something between a wrestling ring and a cage. Bright lights hang above it, illuminating every inch of the surface like a stage. Blood stains the mat, when I look closely I see that the stains are fresh. Crowds pack the surrounding seats, men and women shouting, betting, waving money in the air. That thought of sitting next to Lorenzo all night makes my stomach tighten.

SUPREME GHOST WEREWOLF

SUPREME GHOST WEREWOLF

With a warm welcome, they escorted the young werewolves to their designated area, where they joined fellow werewolves from different clans and countries. The Grand Arena, a magnificent structure carved from the very rocks of the Water Nation, stood as the centerpiece of the competition grounds. Its towering walls, adorned with intricate carvings of mythical creatures and symbols of the werewolf tribes, hinted at the grand spectacle that was about to unfold. As the sun began its descent, casting long shadows across the arena, the werewolves gathered, their eyes filled with a mix of excitement and determination.

Frequently Asked Questions

I've come across 'Onyx Arena' and was immediately drawn to its gritty, action-packed narrative. The author behind this thrilling story is James T. Livingston, a relatively new but incredibly talented writer who specializes in dark fantasy and sci-fi blends. Livingston's writing style is sharp and immersive, making 'Onyx Arena' a standout in the genre. His ability to craft complex characters and high-stakes battles is what keeps readers hooked.

Livingston's background in game design subtly influences the novel's structure, giving it a dynamic, almost interactive feel. If you're into fast-paced, visually rich storytelling with a touch of dystopian flair, 'Onyx Arena' is a must-read. I also recommend checking out his other works, like 'Shadowborne' and 'The Iron Veil,' which share similar themes but explore entirely unique worlds.
