"The pace of having-been without the having-been-afraid. That's the whole fourth act. That's what the novel becomes when the shadow lifts." Dante looked at him — the novelist at the stove, stirring the fourth year's jam, finding the novel's key sentence in a kitchen conversation, the way he'd found every key sentence: not by looking for it but by being in the conversation and letting the conversation produce what it produced. "Write it down," Dante said. "I just did," Elian said, tapping his head. "It's in there. It'll be on the page tomorrow morning." "Good," Dante said.

Summer Love Is Just For Summer

Summer Love Is Just For Summer

It was a creative writing class and over the years many of the short stories that I made in this class turned into full-blown novels. The only ones who know about those novels are Nathan and Lucas because quite a few of them are my more mature books. Lucas is my best friend so it is quite easy to tell him my different stories. It took a lot more time to be able to tell Nathan about them though. I guess I should be afraid that he would tell the whole school. For some reason, though I can't bring myself to be afraid. I guess I just can't see Nathan ever doing that to me.

The Ascension

There are so few views, now that Goodnovel provided me a platform, but I am more than happy to continue this story and perhaps, make it my first completed novel. So now allow me to talk about the novel itself. I have talked to my editor about it and I came to know that my first few chapters are quite odd. The beginning chapter itself barely had any conversation. Well… To be honest, it can’t be helped since I wrote it on my first attempt in writing. I have no background. No experience. I read. I read. I read a ton. I was very smug about my memory since I could remember all sorts of details from hundreds of chapters back.

Quite the unique story in this website. I have read until chapter 50, it's a nice fantasy that is also like just a slice of life, at times heavy, at times just like a breath of fresh air. Only problem is the expensive chapters. Good work though.

Victim of His Obsession

Victim of His Obsession

I just fake a smile and face-palm on them. My pretty face gets a lot of wrinkles because of these witches. ——— We finally finished moving all of Thea’s stuffs and arranged them all, it was very tiring. I lay down on my bed and closed my eyes for a few minutes. I sigh and looked at my phone, I visited my first novel on a online platform. Since I really broke down when I lost him. I started to write proses, poems, short stories and craft novels. I am not aiming for money, I just want to express myself. Each thoughts I have with him, yeah it’s all because of him.

The Author: Back To High School

The Author: Back To High School

Estela narrowed her eyes at Dawn but couldn’t see any signs that she was lying. “Alright… Come, dinner is ready..” They had an early dinner and Dawn stayed in her room to start applying to publish her novel. She knew of a publishing company who would accept novels from teens, as long as they used their parents ID which meant they were being supervised. She turned her laptop on and searched the website of the publishing company. Her heart thumped madly as she filled up the forms and sent in an outline and a free chapter to the publishing company. Her finger hovered over the mouse. She pressed down.

Aarif pointed out, “let it finish the story however it wants to. You should try writing a story yourself without a chatbot. I’m sure there are many web novel companies willing to give new writers a chance.” Like a certain website based in Singapore. Wink wink. “If that doesn’t work out, you can always try self-publishing,” Sikandar suggested. “I don’t know,” Alishba murmured, “I am not confident in my writing skills.” “But you love writing, right?” Shaan asked to which she nodded, “Then give it a try.” “No one’s perfect in one go,” Meeran added, “Practice makes perfect.” “I guess I should start somewhere,” Alishba muttered in agreement.

Mafia Kings Series #1: Nostra Vita

Mafia Kings Series #1: Nostra Vita

Fiction is meant to evoke emotion, but never at the cost of your mental or emotional health. Everyone processes stories differently, and what is thrilling for one reader may be overwhelming for another. Please proceed with awareness and care. AUTHOR'S NOTE: Before you dive into this story, I want to share something personal with you. I wrote this novel when I was just thirteen years old. At the time, I had no formal training in writing, no grasp of complex literary techniques, and very little understanding of storytelling rules. All I had was a vivid imagination, a notebook (or keyboard), and the desire to bring my characters to life.

Master Of Desires

Master Of Desires

One year later "Do you mean that now you write real novels? "As asked one of the men in the circle of girls. I nodded, pushing my hair away to my shoulders. " Some people like to live love, I prefer to write about it. His face changed from curiosity to admiration in a snap of fingers. I had trained that answer in front of the mirror several times before that one. First because my family didn't seem to understand what my profession required of me, and then because it was the easiest answer to give in an interview. Short, thick, and at the same time what they would like to hear. My agent would be proud.
