“Very structured,” I said. “I start by rereading what I wrote the day before. I edit first, then continue. I write in blocks of time. Two hours of intense focus, then rest. Then repeat.”
She scribbled something.
“Do you plan everything before writing or discover the story as you go?”
“A bit of both,” I admitted. “I outline major emotional turning points. But the characters… they surprise me. Sometimes they refuse to behave the way I planned.”
