How To Write Fantasy Novels & Stories

I would like to express my sincerest gratitude to all of you who took their time to give my story a chance. It is my very first written work and it means so much to me that I was given the opportunity to share my imagined world of fairies in a version that combines contemporary and fantasy. Thank you for joining Arianna and the rest of my characters in their journey to the world of fantasy and reality. I hope my characters would stay in your memories forever as a source of inspiration as well as an escape from the bustles of daily living.

Endless tomes of geography were nestled in between, their spines a mosaic of colors and fonts, whispering stories of the world's vast and varied past. With increasing velocity, I typed through the pages of the novel, my hands dancing over the keyboard with an almost supernatural speed. Composing it had been astonishingly straightforward, as if the words materialized unbidden from my mind. Maybe the task was so fluid because I wrote of what I understood most intimately: the secretive world of the Fae. I embellished it generously, scattering bits of knowledge about other mythical creatures throughout the narrative and allowing them to intertwine with the main thread, creating an intricate tape

Back to when I was just Aria, daughter of Robert, student with dreams. "Fantasy," I say slowly. "Magic. Worlds that don't exist. Escape." "Then write that. Create a world where bonds are celebrated. Where love is simple. Where people don't have to fight to exist." "You think I can?" "I think you survived Adrian Hayes. Writing a book should be easy in comparison." It's not easy. But over the next hour, I manage three paragraphs. Three paragraphs about a girl who discovers magic and a boy who teaches her to use it. Nothing profound. Nothing publishable. Each was a florid fantasy, not viewed as a tale, but lived in him. He was always the main character, distinguished and adventurous, an illusion of splendor he supposed. Cavin likes them that way, it is much better than ordinary life. So if the thoughts of an insane journey still come, how was he to say he was cured? When even in a precarious voyage of the supernatural, here he was risking his life again. A true fantasy is a fixed mistaken notion that gains traction, like a wheel of a wagon on the road, it propels a person in different paths, often unpredictable and toward catastrophe.

Despite both of them were very real, thanks to the setting, and also since we were on earth, everything seems like a fantasy world that I just made up. “You all see here…this is the world that I called…Fantasma….it’s a world of Medieval fantasy…where there’s a swords, monsters, dragon…and everything that you can Imagine..magics too…I want you all to keep this in mind….these is the setting that I wanted….the vibes had to be maintained as it is…no matter what…”.

Beyond it lay his house, but not his home. Not a cabin. Not a castle, but larger than a castle. A living, breathing structure, it pulsed like a heart, it's walls a mixture of stone, bark, and magic. Inside were books. Thousands. All versions of her. Elara. His wealth filled chambers beneath the house, not gold, but something far more potent. Memories. Souls. Power she accidentally gifted him when she wrote and rewrote his world. And every time she changed something in the book….he grew stronger.

This story is written primarily for teens however it's open for all age groups as all of us love a bit of fantasy. No mature contents at all.
