As if not satisfied with the reading speed she was trying, her brown beautiful eyes moved even faster, as if her brain was getting more interested in the book she was digesting. Word by word, sentence by sentence, she continued to trace the direction of the story being told in the novel titled "Werewolf Kingdom".

The Mirabella library was steeped in a rich aroma of well-worn leather and hidden mysteries, its ancient shelves lined with tomes that whispered secrets of ages past. Autumn paced restlessly before the grand hearth, the flickering flames casting dancing shadows across her features, illuminating the pages of the Book of the Veilwalker. The sigil emblazoned in silver on the open page pulsed gently with a faint light, almost as if it were alive, its allure anchoring her attention like a siren's call.

It was glowing faintly, its pages turning on their own as if guided by an unseen hand. There was a strange swan-like symbol in the center of the book, surrounded by a circle of light. The brightness almost hurt her eyes, but she couldn’t look away.

he said, handing it over. It landed with a soft thud in my hands. The cover was worn, the spine fraying at the edges like it had been around far too long. I squinted at the title. “Legends of the Lost: The Moon Goddess’s Touch,” I read aloud. “How exactly is this supposed to help me get my wolf?”

The air smelled clean, the lights warm, the shelves tall and perfect. “Choose the book that pulls you,” the woman said. “It will tell you what you need.” She vanished into the shadows. I walked along the shelves. My hand stopped on one book, not because I liked it, but because something in me reacted. A strange pull. The title was old, written in faded ink:” The Nature of the Cursed: shifters of the Moon.” My fingers trembled as I opened it. Inside were sketches, human shadows twisted into wolves, claws emerging from the hands, glowing eyes in the darkness. I swallowed hard.

I'm back in the library when my birthmark suddenly burns, not warm or tingling but burning like someone pressed hot iron against my skin. I gasp and press my hand against it through my dress, but the heat doesn't fade. The book sits on the table where I left it. As I watch, the silver ink on the cover begins to glow, soft at first, then brighter. I move closer and open it carefully. The text blurs before my eyes with the handwriting shifting and changing, becoming something else entirely. And for a moment, just a moment, I swear I see words that weren't there before. "The Celestial Wolf and her king will burn together or rise together. There is no in between."

Hashmuk whisphered against his ears, licking his earlobes. "Hashmuk, I have something to do." He tried to wriggle himself free from his grip when he recalled that him and his friends had agreed to meet at the palace’s library to dig deeper into the magic books they had carried along with them. "What do you want to do? Can’t it wait?" He asked, trailing kisses down his body. He wasn’t given time to respond because the next minute Hashmuk captured his lips for an itense deep kiss. Kelvin smiled through the kiss, closed his eyes and gripped Hashmuk’s hair. With one swap, he turned him so that he would be on top and captured his lips, pulled him against him for another heated kiss.

I asked with little curiosity. A boy like him shouldn't be tied to the Temple. "No, another item will replace its position. But no worries, I love my job." The book had a sorcerer’s wand coloured violet on the cover. A blue smooth bookmark was attached to it. The book's edges looked like silver but felt like liquid mercury. "You can take the shortcut at the end of this room." "Thanks," I mouthed out. I walked to the other end of the room and placed my hand on the wall, waiting for something to happen.
