Maybe. “Is something wrong?" the old librarian asked. "N-no," I stammered, quickly kneeling to gather the fallen books. Could it really be the same wolf? Had it followed me here somehow? Once I had the books back in order, I picked one at random and moved toward a quiet corner, a little nook tucked away from the main aisles. It wasn’t much, but it offered a semblance of privacy—a place where I could focus. The first few books yielded nothing about the curse I sought. By the time I reached the fourth, night had fallen and the old man had long since left.

The front page read: Beçin Chronicles: A History of the Byzantine Castle and its Mythical Beings. “It’s from the 1400s!” I exclaimed, my voice filled with pure excitement. Manolya could hear the frantic energy in my tone as I carefully flipped through the soft, worn pages.

I thought of an excuse but couldn't articulate a logical one. "It's just b—ouch!" The cerulean creature pulled my hair with its small fingers. I tried to swat it using my hands but the transparent wings like dragonfly were fast enough to avoid my attacks.

My heart hammered as the light shot out from the book, encasing me. “Lyra!” Helga called, but her voice wasn’t coming from close by. The world spun. Everything disappeared as I closed my eyes. *** When I opened my eyes I was standing in an entirely new place. A gigantic snow-covered mountain stood before me. Cold wind was biting into my skin. I huddled myself and shivered. “What… is this place?” I whispered aloud. The ground rumbled beneath my feet. Then, out of the billowing snow, stepped a huge wolf.

I don’t know if I can face her again, after that. But nothing happens. I hear her footsteps as she walks away, and I look up again over the edge of the book, seeing her hurry into the crowd. That’s when I hear it. Grrrrrrr…. A low, spine-chilling growl. Coming from right behind me. I drop the book into my lap, snapping my head around at lightning speed. And find myself face to face with a snarling, ravenous black wolf.

His parchment skin folded in on itself until he was nothing more than a small, leather-bound book lying on the paper path. I picked it up. The cover was blank, but the pages inside were filled with the story of a werewolf and a girl, written in a hand that looked like both of ours. "We're moving into the Fourth Vault," I said, looking at the path that now stretched toward a horizon where the wooden stars were beginning to turn into real, morning light. "What's the first line of the new chapter?" Xander asked, his arm around me as we stepped off the paper and back onto the moss.

She left them and walked straight towards their classroom. “Another boring day,” she whispered to herself as she sat. She put her bag and get the book which she covered with another design to hide the real title of the book. The book was called “My Journey Beyond My Imagination”. It was written by Lilia Desaix, it’s the reason why Clandes covered the book. Bulwarkians were not allowed to read or use any artworks of Desaix. Desaix was known as a criminal, they killed a lot of humans since they are vampires and witches. But, it cannot be denied that they are talented.
