CHASING MONSTERS
Before anyone could respond, someone yelled from the far hall.
“Shiloh?!”
Sophie barreled toward us, half-braided hair flying, leather pants, wide smile. She skidded to a stop, took one look at the hunters, and, because she was Sophie, grinned wider.
“Harris, you old menace,” she said. “Still alive.”
“Somebody has to keep you idiots in line,” he muttered.
She hugged him, Kofi, Ryder, awkwardly patting his back while he stood stiff as a post, and then turned her full attention to Jo and the baby.
