Hunger Games Funny Memes Novels & Stories

That dazed, innocent look? Yeah, I was living for it. Thank god this game tracked fear, not heart rate. No way anyone could stay chill looking at that face. While I was still admiring the view, Mia—fully reassembled—flew in and kicked his head into the ceiling. Then she curled into my arms, sniffling. "Mommy, Mia hungry. Feed me." My heart turned to mush. I hugged her. "Okay, baby. I got you." Cooking was the one thing I actually had down.

A message bubble lit up under his name, cheerful and oblivious. Just another one of his dry, stupid jokes—something about his dinner being so terrible he was convinced the restaurant was trying to assassinate him with undercooked chicken. He'd probably attached one of those ridiculous GIFs he was always finding, something animated and silly that was meant to make me laugh.

And then he went his separate ways. Turned out I didn’t flunk the test. Maybe by sleeping on the book, some of the knowledge seeped into my subconscious. I was in much better spirits when I went to the cafeteria to get lunch. But that soon soured when I saw how everyone was staring at me and giggling behind their hands. I hate social media. There was a meme of me slapping Neil that was trending on the internet. It was actually pretty funny. Not that I was laughing. Neil and his three buddies thought it was hilarious. Well, they were popular guys so I guess it didn’t matter to them.

I_love_my_mommy (Liam) Party at my house, boys! Yes_you_suck (Mia) Um...excuse me, what about girls? Cereal_killer (Caleb) Did someone say 'food?' I_pooped No, idiot, he said, 'party' Cereal_killer Party=food. Count me in. Noah's_wifey (Chloe) Wait a sec, what party? Also, you all changed my username again

It was like someone had loosened a knot that I did not know was there. By the next week the messages stretched longer. She started sending memes that was about anxiety brain fog. A cartoon character that was staring blankly at the wall with the caption “when your thoughts are buffering.” I laughed out loud in my kitchen. The sound made even me surprised. I replied with a crying laughing emoji and then I added. “Too real.”

Harrison asked. “The great Alexander Lancaster is actually scared of something like this? So pathetic!” Hazel laughed playfully. She was so amused by this scenario. “Let me add more to his pain.” Harper pressed a button and it sent a meme to Alexander’s account. It was a picture of him and the surprised Pikachu face. Which described his situation perfectly. The kids laughed quietly, they were enjoying it. “He looks so stupid!” Henry exclaimed. “I bet he is fuming with anger right now. His face must be as red as an apple.” Hazel playfully added.

A headline in bold, vicious letters screamed across the page: “VALE HEIRESS STUMBLES THROUGH FIRST GALA. UNFIT? UNSTABLE? UNWANTED?” I flipped to the next one. “LOST PUP CAN’T HANDLE THE PRESSURE.” “IS THIS THE FUTURE OF THE VALE PACK?” “ALPHA BLOOD? SHE CAN’T EVEN STAND.” Heat burned the back of my eyes. Mocking captions. Red circles around my face. People commenting on my body, my dress, my expression. Memes already made. Side-by-side comparisons of me and polished she-wolves with the note: “One of these things is not like the other.”

Mentions, messages, tags. My stomach tightened as I opened one. It was a meme caricature of my old picture. There was a poop emoji on top of my head, my brown eyes were replaced with a red laser, and a boldly written text on the picture said ‘SLUT’. I groaned and locked my phone immediately. But it was too late. I’d already seen it. Another buzz. Then another. Curiosity got the better of me again. I saw a particular message from a private page in my DM.
