Elion asked.
"Yes. If I don't have to walk far."
"Just to the chair."
Elion helped Cale out of bed. He supported Cale’s weight, maneuvering him into the armchair by the window. Cale looked pale, his dark hair stark against his skin, but he held his head high.
Elion opened the door.
A team of three stylists bustled in, carrying garment bags and steamer trunks.
"Good morning, finalists!" the lead stylist, a man named Paolo, chirped. "Big night! Huge night! We have velvet! We have silk! And, of course, the masks!"
