The Taste of Submission
Water streamed down every inch of his torso as it worshipped him, tracing the lines of a body built for power and for sin.
My breath caught in my throat, a painful little hitch. A man I could never resist and never should want. He noticed me immediately, of course he did. A predator is always aware of the prey, even when it thinks it is hiding. He stopped mid-lap, turning his head, his face a mask of shadows and silver light.
“Couldn’t sleep?” His voice was low, a gravelly caress that vibrated through the night air and straight into my core.
“No,” I shivered, the word a wisp of white cloud in the cool air. “Just needed some air.”
