Ugh. I sat on the settee, my leg plopped on the table, a bowl of grapes and juicy strawberry resting comfortably on my lap with a third book I'm about to complete. I've gone through two books which contains the history of vampires and werewolves and boy they really despised each other back then. This third book is about the twins parents and how the reconciled both clans through the birth of the twins which was impossible as both never thought they'll have an offspring from their taboo of a union, a hybrid, the first of their kind and the most powerful of all their kinds. My hybrids. I voice out my thoughts loving the way it slip off my lips. Suddenly my phone went off.

I ask, “Is there anything I need to know about her being a hybrid? I’ve never met or even heard of hybrids before.” She smiles softly as we get off the elevator and says, “Most people haven’t. All you need to know is that she needs blood to survive. Her eyes will turn red the longer she goes without and if bloodlust starts then she won’t be able to control it. Any blood will do but human blood tastes the best for her… actually since you’re her mate then your blood would be the best.” I nod and ask, “How long can she go without?” She shrugs as she stops in front of a door and says, “It varies based on the person and how much energy they’re using. Now, do you want to meet her?”

He stood up slowly, still watching me. “You're Kael Everdeen,” he said. I just stared at him and didn't respond. He chuckled low. “So you're the one the so called Alpha Damon is most in fear of.” “What do you know about Damon?” I gritted my teeth. He didn’t answer but kust glanced at the dead creature bleeding out behind me. “Impressive. Not many make it through an encounter with a gravehowler.” “A what?” “That thing,” he nodded. “They hunt anything with blood. Especially blood that burns hotter than most.”

Humans have been misled by those elite in power of the vampire covens to eradicate the hybrid species because the hybrid species are more dangerous than just a vampire or werewolf species alone,” frowning slightly I looked down as I thought it over, “But, I’m not physically dangerous. I mean besides being told I am a virus,” Groban rolled his eyes as he scoffed, “And do you actually believe that?” Thinking it over for just a moment I nodded once. Groban’s eyes narrowed slightly as his eyebrows furrowed,

It's challenging to find them," Darcus said. Hybrids are a unique species. When two different species mate, their offspring usually inherit one of the parent's energy types. For instance, if a dragon and a witch have a child, the child will either be a witch or a dragon. However, the infant often doesn't survive when a hybrid is born. The power within them is too intense and uncontrollable. Only a few can successfully manage this energy.
