I felt that this conversation wasn't about the stars and the moon anymore. "Until the stars dont help themselves no one can ward off the darkness. The moon can only provide a guiding light. Its the stars who need to do the travelling." I tilted my head before turning to face her I spoke my next words carefully. "Dont forget, sun is also a star.. Brightest actually. Darkness dessipates when sun shines." "It's your choice whether you want to be like the sun or a failed star." I added with a soft murmer. In that moment I saw some emotions whirling around Rosaleigh's deep blue eyes. It was hope, faith and something else which disappeared as soon as it came.

I whispered in her ear softly, "whenever you look at the moon, just know that this stars is yours." She turned to stare at me, her eyes filled with astonishment. I swallowed hard. I could not believe that standing next to her right now like this... how I had prayed a million times in these past years to just see her.
