Olivia’s POV I sat down in my room, flipping through a book absentmindedly. I tossed and turned, trying to find a comfortable position, thinking it would help me concentrate, but that didn't help, nothing did. I had been in the room without going out for days, and I was feeling really restless. I knew I really needed to go out, or I might go mad. I put the book down on my lap and looked at Maya who was also reading a book. She was so engrossed in it I wished I had her level of concentration.

I responded to her and she turned away and closed the door. What kind of marriage was this and why was she tied down to one? I was really confused and was looking around for something that I would be able to read through when I started hearing a sound. It was beeping and I was feeling like it was really familiar..I started following around and I approached where it was coming from. There was a big box and I looked around to see how things were positioned when I opened it and I was mortified with what I saw. Inside that box was the very same device that the bounty hunters were using and there were four here. I could not believe my eyes and I quickly snapped them and saw a notebook in the box.

Lavinia asks. I nod, my eyes glued to the book. "What were you looking at?" I ask, gesturing at the closed cover. Lavinia hesitates, her eyes flickering to the book and then back to me. "It's nothing, dear. Just an old book I found in the forest. It's not important." But I can tell she's lying. There's a strange energy coming from the book, something that makes my skin crawl. I take a step closer, my eyes lingering on the ancient letters adorning the cover.

“I need to get home. My family will think I’ve run away.” “Your family?” Barry asked, grabbing her arm and pulling her back to the bed. “You didn’t tell me you had a family.” Tears pricked her eyes. It was time of reckoning now. She must be honest because he had to get her home. “Yes, I have parents, one brother and six sisters.” His eyes widened. “You do? What about your master? Do they work for him, too?” She rubbed the pain consuming her skull. “I…I haven’t been exactly honest with you.”
