Even Luna chuckled softly, and the atmosphere grew light and cheerful—until it didn’t. The room fell silent when an elderly woman in a white hood entered, holding a wooden staff carved with light symbols. Everyone stood in respect. The seer—looked right at me. Or maybe through me. Her eyes were cloudy, ancient, and knowing. “I see four lights surrounding you, daughter of Mystic Guardian,” she said slowly. “Four bonds. Four destinies.” The room froze. “Four… mates?” Luna whispered. My breath caught. Zion stared at me, stunned, while trying to process what he’d just heard.

This place seems more extensive than on video. "Fuck, this place is a total wreck," Gunnar proclaims. "It's like a hurricane hit here." "Kendall, got on a reading?" I ask her. Her infrared gadget tells us it is beeping if anybody is done here. "I see four live bodies, but they are strapped on the other side of that door straight ahead." "There are more?" Gunnar says softly. We approached forward towards a keycard door. I stepped back, let Gunnar implant a C4 paste on the handle, and pressed the button. As we took a step back a few feet while the bomb beeps, it gave out a soundless explosion and opened the door.

Fabian hit the floor like a dog face-planting in the dirt, groaning in pain. His lackey, Chester, grabbed a chair and swung it at me after seeing him getting hit. I dodged to the side, kicked him hard in the butt, and sent him crashing into the pile of wreaths. Fabian scrambled up from the ground with his fleshy face twisted in fury. “Are you tired of living, Mattie? Do you have any idea where the Jeffersons stand in Cirrus? Even having ten lives would not save you!” I curled my lips. There weren’t many people in this world who could take my life.
