Especially not with him. My son stepped closer. Who is the fourth child? My mother's expression became serious. Someone who was never supposed to be born. Lyra frowned. Another sibling? Yes. Our younger daughter looked shocked. How many children did Mama have? My mother looked at me. Four. I shook my head. No. I remember three. You remember what you were allowed to remember. I felt a cold chill. What happened to the fourth? My mother looked toward the windows. The fourth child was hidden beyond time.

There was always a catch, Zara and I thought as I narrowed my eyes at the four sexy and brooding men sitting in seats across the table from me. “They must continue to submit to their Alpha King, and agree to a mating of his choosing, with a pod.” Colt stated clearly looking me directly in the eyes. Goddess his eyes…just looking into them made me feel all tingly all over and get all fuzzy on the inside. ‘I’m your all fuzzy inside. There ain’t no more room in here for anythin’ else! Ya got that?!’ Zara quickly interjected to remind me. I just had to chuckle at her silly snide remarks at times.

I cannot live without them. Alpha Hunter stirs beside me, and I turn to face him. I trace the outlines of his face with my finger. His defined jaw and sharp cheekbones. I still find it hard to believe that I have this handsome, loyal, and caring man by my side. I have four of them—okay, minus Killian because I don’t see him filling out any of those qualities, but he’s cool in his own way. I snort. What am I saying? The man is barely managing to tolerate me.

Pendergarish has a very serious look on her face, and though I want to laugh, I think she is serious. “I’m not very good at math,” I begin, “but… are you telling me… I’ll be having… f-f-four babies?” “That’s right,” she says. “Four babies.” I feel all of the color drain out of my face. “Dr. Pencilcase,” I say, “is that because I had sex with four men? Are they each a different Alpha’s baby?” That makes everyone erupt in laughter, and I feel like an idiot.

His face goes grim, and he motions for me to come closer. "There's at least four of them in there," he whispers. "And they're armed." My heart sinks. Four against two doesn’t sound like great odds, especially if they are armed. But I can't just give up. Not when Nora's life is on the line. "We have to take them out," I whisper back. "How?" Brynn whispers. Marlow cracks his knuckles. "Easy. I'll shift and take care of them." I give him a hard look. "I'm glad you figured out what your powers are, but let's be reasonable. You can't take them all on."

I responded to her and she turned away and closed the door. What kind of marriage was this and why was she tied down to one? I was really confused and was looking around for something that I would be able to read through when I started hearing a sound. It was beeping and I was feeling like it was really familiar..I started following around and I approached where it was coming from. There was a big box and I looked around to see how things were positioned when I opened it and I was mortified with what I saw. Inside that box was the very same device that the bounty hunters were using and there were four here. I could not believe my eyes and I quickly snapped them and saw a notebook in the box.
