“คุณเสือคะ มันเป็นเรื่องเข้าใจผิดนะคะ เนตรกับคุณเมธเราไม่ได้มีอะไรกัน มันเป็นแค่เรื่องบังเอิญเท่านั้นค่ะ” เนตรแพรปรับโทนเสียงข่มความโกรธที่เขาดูถูกเธอ พยายามเอาน้ำเย็นเข้าลูบ “เธอคิดว่าฉันจะเชื่อผู้หญิงร่านร้อนอย่างเธอเหรอเนตรแพร” เขาเดินมาหาหญิงสาวที่ยืนอยู่หน้าโต๊ะทำงานของเขา พูดแล้วชี้นิ้วจิ้มเข้าที่หน้าผากมนออกแรงผลักเพียงนิดเดียวศีรษะทุยก็เอียงเอนจนทรงตัวไม่อยู่ “พี่เสือคะ ฟางมารับไปทานข้าวกลางวันค่ะ” อยู่ ๆ เฟยเฟิ่งก็เปิดประตูเข้ามา ทำให้ทั้งศรุตและเนตรแพรหันไปทางต้นเสียงอย่างรวดเร็ว ส่วนคนที่เข้ามาไม่ดูเวลาตกใจเล็กน้อย ดูเหมือนว่าสองคนในห้องกำลังมีปากเสียงกันอย่างไรอย่างนั้น “น้องฟางมาแล้วเหรอครับ รอพี่แป๊บหนึ่งนะ” ศรุตบอกผู้มาใหม่ด้วยน้ำเสียงอ่อนโยน แล้วหันมาตวาดใส่คนตัวเล็กเสียงแข็ง “ส่วนข้าวเที่ยงที่เธอเอามา ฉันไม่กินเอากลับไป พร้อมกับร่างกายเน่า ๆ ของเธอซะ” “คุณเสือคะ เนตรมีเรื่องสำคัญอยากจะบอกคุณเสือค่ะ” เนตรแพรตัดสินใจที่จะบอกเรื่องสำคัญให้ศรุตได้รับรู้ มันคือเรื่องที่น่ายินดีสำหรับเธอ แต่ไม่รู้ว่าชายหนุ่มตรงหน้าจะยินดีกับสิ่งที่เธอจะพูดหรือไม่

"ว่าไง? มันได้ทำแบบนี้ไหม" ริมฝีปากร้อนเคลื่อนไหวช้าๆ สัมผัสเบาๆ ที่ติ่งหู กระซิบแผ่วเบาพร้อมลมหายใจอุ่น ก่อนความอุ่นร้อนจากริมฝีปากจะแตะสัมผัสที่ต้นคอ ย้ำเตือนในสิ่งที่เขาเคยทำกับเธอ "มะ...ไม่ได้ทำ" "งั้นไปสานต่อเรื่องคืนนั้นกัน" *************** "ที่ผ่านมาคุณเป็นคนอยากได้ผมเองไม่ใช่รึไง" "หมอไทม์!" "ทำไม? ผมพูดอะไรผิด คุณอยากได้ผมก็แค่สนอง" ส่วนเขา...ก็ไม่ได้รักเธอสักหน่อย ไม่เห็นมีอะไรต้องแคร์!
