​Chapter 17 Ariana's POV ​I knew I looked suspicious the moment I stepped through the apartment door. ​Not suspicious in the criminal sense. Just… guilty. ​My cheeks still felt unusually warm, my pulse was racing, and I had just spent the entire walk up the stairs trying to convince myself that the last ten minutes hadn't completely shattered my focus. ​Nothing happened. ​I repeated it like a mantra with every step I took Nothing happened. ​Damien had given me a drive home because I couldn't get a ride. He carried my groceries. We talked. He left. That was it. It was a completely normal act of courtesy from a guy who happened to be around.

And that day I just came back home after getting the book as suddenly I started getting bored with the place, and so I just came home only to soon start reading the book after having food and surprisingly it was

***ABOUT THE BOOK*** The Elf King & I is a romance/humor/fantasy fiction set in the fictional world called Aldous (+ a few more) and the real world, USA. The relationships of the characters are: - BxB for main couples. - BxG for others. This story is bound to have some silly events to depict comedy scenes for a good-time laugh. Nevertheless, though the story may start light-themed at first, it is recommended to brace yourself for a heavy plot in the future.
