Her voice cracked, raw and ragged, as she spun on her heel and stormed toward the door, tears streaking down her face. Cristiano stood frozen for a heartbeat, his steel-grey turning eyes dark yet unreadable as he watched her disappear. Then the restraint snapped. He turned and drove his fist into the wall beside him. The impact echoed sharply through the room. Pain shot up his arm, but he welcomed it. When he looked down, blood was already seeping from his knuckles, the skin split open. The gold wedding band on his finger gleamed against the crimson. He didn’t stop. His fist struck the wall again. And again. And again.

As soon as these words left his mouth, Shane exploded with rage. "You bastard! Who do you think you are? How dare you speak so arrogantly! I am a Sovereign Grandmaster of the Smiths! Since I couldn’t kill you just now, I'll just do it now!" Shane unleashed his full fury. He charged at Frederick like a rampaging lion, closing the distance between them in an instant. "Demon Fist!" Purple flames burst forth from Shane's right arm instantly. It seemed as though the atmosphere itself was burning, transforming into a majestic light that engulfed Frederick.

he said, showing his closed fist to me. "Yeah, thanks to your wrap, that seems to be impossible," I muttered, trying to clench my fists, but got quiet immediately when I felt his glare at me. "Then, when you strike, you're not going to use your entire fist but this one," he said, pointing to the downside of my fist. I nodded and tried to close my hand as tight as I could. "Then, place your hand behind your head then—" And a loud sound echoed all of a sudden.

Christian ordered and I did as he instructed, hitting him on the palm. I screamed in shock the moment I felt my bones crack inside my skin after the punch on his palm. Christian laugh at me but I didn't find it funny, I was in pain. "You don't clench your fists with your thumb inside, you could break it." Christian took my palm and bend my fingers, leaving my thumb out and placing it above my folded fist. "Good. Now hit me once more with all the strength you can muster." I sighed, drawing back my hand and hitting his palm once more and he smiled.

asked one of the Fire Sect disciples, looking at Long Chen with disbelief. "Hey, of course I can! Who do you think I am? I’ve already given you all a chance, so… It’s my turn now! Destructive Immortal Fist!" With his fist, Long Chen created countless giant fists, and those fists struck the three Fire Sect disciples directly. BOOOOOMMM… BOOOOOMMM…

This is my chance. With lightning speed, Luca moved, his foot slamming into the ground to steady himself. His eyes locked onto Kieran, and without a second thought, his fist shot forward. It connected with Kieran’s face with a sickening crack, the impact sending Kieran flying backward, his body crashing into the ground. The crowd, once chanting Kieran’s name, now fell into stunned silence.

I would glance back occasionally, watching as he'd write notes down in his book. I didn't know if this was the college Connor was looking to impress, but I was sure that he'd impress them all. It was getting down to the last ten minutes or so of the game, and Connor was starting to get rough with a few of the opposing players. Considering our team was ahead by two goals, it made sense that things were going to get rough, but violent? I didn't see the need for that. A fist fight was close to breaking out between Elijah and another player, but our coach pulled him. That's when I started to get a bad feeling about the game. When one of the opposing players decided to get sneaky with his hits, t

I can hear every pound as I stare into his eyes: dark and threatening. “I’m done being friendly.” He spits before his fist punches me in the stomach. My mouth falls open, and I drop to my knees.

She didn’t hesitate this time. Jake answered on the second ring. “I was wondering when you’d call.” “Jake,” she said, her voice tight, “what is this?” A pause. Then, quieter, “It’s nothing.” “It doesn’t look like nothing.” Jake sighed. “It was years ago, Sophie. A dumb bar fight. Someone threw a punch, I threw one back. That was it.” Sophie clenched her jaw. “And now the media’s making it sound like you’re some kind of criminal.”

My body stiffens. I lose control. My arm raises. My hand curls into a fist. "Good," he says. "Now, strike." I look at my other hand. It’s holding a knife. And it’s pointed at Liam. "No," I whisper. "Strike," he commands. And I swing.
