I looked at this woman who’d given birth to me, who’d sent me away to keep me safe, who’d forced me back here and called it love, and realized I was looking at someone who would kill Lily without losing a single night’s sleep over it. “You touch her,” I said, and my voice came out as barely controlled growl, “and I will burn this entire pack to the ground.”

I love my woman so much, and if anyone tries to take her away from me, I don't know what I would do to that person, but I do know that it would be worse for him or her not to get born to what I would do. I won't kill them, but they would suffer. They would suffer like never before and I would see them off to hell and back. I would slice their skin open and feed their opened skin with chilli for them to feel the exact pain I would be feeling at that time. I won't hunt them down to give them a quick death. I will hurt them down to give them a slow one. I finally got out of the bathroom with a cold face, but when I saw my wife coiling up in the bed, my smile returned.
