This guy had been my one true brother all throughout school. “I've missed you.” I said. “Blech, you cheesy motherfucker,” he said and I punched him in the stomach and we both burst into laughter. “I've missed you too. I want you to know that I've decided to not come between you and Steph. And I want to stay in touch with you mate. So I truly hope, you won't break my little sister's heart because that would mean I'd have to kill you.” He said and I smirked.

He better not mention anything like- "I have had a crush on her for like forever and -" "Fuck off dude," I stated in disgust without realizing it. I couldn't keep listening to what he had to say and mentioning once more about me being Tessie's brother was going to make me do something I didn't want to. I started walking away. "I'm trying to be nice here," he shouted. "Not that I need your approval or anything, I just thought we could at least get along as bros."

He reached over and took my hand. "It's okay, babe. I'm not here to make you feel worse. I just need you to know that I'm not going anywhere so don’t push me away because you feel guilty. Somehow, it just made me feel like there was something I loved. ''I'm sorry i'm prying but how many are you guys?'' I asked. ''It's okay, you aren't prying. We're four and one of them, my elder brother, is an accomplished chef in Ohio.'' he grinned. The way he spoke, he was so proud of his brother and even though I didn't know him, I felt proud too. He said before leaving me alone in my room. I gripped the desk as I took a few deep breaths. I hated my brothers but at the same time loved them. But it was a required love, they were family. We were attached at the hip ever since we were born. We did everything together and whenever we left each other alone, it felt wrong. But my brothers and I were as different as we could get. Sure, we were all popular and everyone watched every move we made, but they took the bullying route, whereas I wanted nothing to do with that.

"I love you guys and I'll miss you very much, but if any of you so much as touch my Nutella stash, I will cut your balls off and feed it to each other, got it?"

I asked out of curiosity when some of the childhood photos caught my attention. “Well, for the most part, yes. However, I didn't get to give my brothers as much time I should have as their oldest brother,” he stated with a hint of regret in his voice. “But they still love you and are eager to meet you every month, aren't they?” I responded. I have heard a lot about his brothers from him, so I knew that his brothers didn't hold any grudge against him and loved him very much. Zaiden smiled and said, “Yes, they do.”
