After confirming I was pregnant, I suddenly heard my husband’s inner voice. “This idiot is still gloating over her pregnancy. She doesn’t even know we switched out her IVF embryo. Aren’t you just a useless woman who can’t get pregnant?” At that moment, my heart felt like it had shattered into a million pieces. It wasn’t long before bystanders intervened, insisting on taking me to the hospital. Unfortunately, it was too late to save the baby. Once the surgery was over and the reality of what had happened sank in, I turned to him and demanded a divorce.

Hanggang unti-unti nang nahuhulog ang loob ni Kfer sa kaniya. Lahat kayang iwan at isakripisyo ni Michael para sa kapatid. Ngunit kaya pa ba niyang isakripisyo kahit ang nararamdaman niya para lang maging masaya ang kapatid niya?

“Aku suka sama Mbak.” Ucap Halil dengan senyum lebarnya. Innara mengerutkan dahi dan memandang pria yang usianya dua tahun lebih muda sekaligus bawahannya itu dengan tatapan tajam dan dingin. “Jangan suka sama saya. Saya ini lebih cocok jadi kakak kamu daripada jadi pacar kamu.” Jawab Innara dengan ketus seraya berbalik pergi. “Siapa juga yang mau jadi pacar Mbak.” Ucap Halil ketus yang membuat Innara kembali berbalik memandangnya dengan bingung. “Aku maunya Mba jadi istri aku aja.” Lanjutnya kembali dengan senyum lebar yang membuat Innara kesal. “Lagipula Mbak jangan khawatir, postur tubuh aku bisa nyembunyiin usia Mbak yang lebih tua.” Jawabnya yang membuat Innara merasa ditampar kenyataan.
