I Slept With My Sister Novels & Stories

I looked at my parents. “Do you want to know why I’m getting home so late tonight? A client forced me to down an entire bottle of hard liquor. I was in the washroom puking my guts out. “And while I was out there breaking my back, I saw my own sister showing off the apartment you bought her. It’s the one I’ve been working really hard to afford but will never, ever have! Daphne stood up and said in a shrill voice, “Lina, how can you talk to Mom and Dad like that? They’ve sacrificed so much to raise us—”

He says beaming at me in the mirror, "red suits you." "I look like Luc," I say. "She was your sister." James unplugs the blow-dryer and places it in the sink. "Why does that bother you?" I shrug. "I do have dreams about her." "Dreams?" "Nightmares." "It's normal, I guess. It been months, you are still grieving." "She is scary in the nightmares," I say. I'm surprised that I'm telling James something that I could never tell anyone else. "Wasn't she scary in real life?" He asks innocently.

It couldn't be, she couldn't have been! "I don't know! You slept with someone who isn't an escort? If you didn't sound so scandalized, I would be overjoyed right now." He scoffed. "This is no time for jokes! I have to find her. She must have been drunk and... Shit! I fucked an innocent girl-" "If she didn't push you away, then she wanted it." My brother said nonchalantly. True. It was also not the first time such a thing had happened. But for some reason, I felt like that wasn't the case in this scenario.

And when it was over, when the silence finally settled and she lay against my chest, both of us still catching our breath, reality hit me like a punch to the gut. Micah. I’d just slept with my best friend’s sister. Again.

Like he was waiting to see how far I would go to deny it. My sister laughed softly, completely unaware of the tension suffocating the space between us. “You two are already getting along,” she said, clearly pleased. “That’s good.” Getting along? If only she knew. I forced a small smile, my hands clenched at my sides to stop them from shaking. “I think I should go, I need to freshen up” I said suddenly. Too fast. Too desperate. Both of them noticed. My sister frowned. “Already?” “I’m just… tired.”

I had sex with Troy Knight. My hand rose to cover my mouth as the magnitude of what I did came crashing down on me. I had sex with my sister’s fiancé. How the hell did that happen? I didn’t even like him, let alone talked to him to the point that he would end up in my bed. And he couldn’t stand me either. So how could we have sex? What the hell happened last night?

I cut into an empty corridor between buildings and stopped with my back against the wall. It was not simple shock. What settled in my chest was messier. She had been my brother’s girlfriend for eight months. She had eaten dinner in my house. She had walked past me in the hallway like she was part of the furniture. And the first time I really looked at her, I had her on her knees with my hand in her hair. I exhaled hard through my nose.

I told myself over and over, "I can not think about having sex with my sister. It was wrong and it was an accident." I heard my stepsister come into the room. She sat beside me and looked as hung over as I did. Her hair was all over the place and she had on a robe that was just barely tied. I was pretty sure she was naked under the robe but tried to push those thoughts away. Things had already gotten far enough out of hand.

After I took her home from the hospital, I allowed her to stay in my room as per the request from Lucas. She must have told him we didn't stay in the same room, though I was mad at her for telling him I decided to let it slide and welcome her back to my room. “I don't care what it was. We were intimate, and you said you loved me.” I gritted my teeth, feeling stupid for my terrible mistake. I had taken care of her in my room. Then, one night, I came home drunk, and we had sex. I swear I thought she was Andrea.

I did not like it but I was not ready to confess that I liked him too. But the thought of sharing him with my twin sister? I was not ready for that. Then when I found out that Austin and Luna had sex and he was her first? I was livid. I was beside myself with anger. I kept on asking myself, how could they do this to me. Austin thought I was mad because he slept with my sister.
