It felt good to be back here. The walls were a different shade of pink. On the northernmost part of the wall where the head of her bed was located was covered in a wallpaper with rose pink background and luscious fuschia pink flowers. The westernmost part where her windows were located was painted in the palest shade of pastel pink, almost the same shade as her window frames. The other side of the wall— her workspace and reading area was painted in carnation and every other shade of pink there was. It was mostly an outbursts of pink, her favorite color. She had maintained this color since she was a kid and she didn't see that love for the color dwindling anytime soon.

We came down just as Gabi snapped her phone shut “What’s wrong Gabi?” I asked “They messed up my order with another couple. Estel POV “It’s pink,” Ada, my wolf, grumbled. When I pulled into the circle drive, we could see into the giant windows along the front of the once forgotten resort hotel. It was atrocious. It looked like the inside of a pepto bismol bottle. It was painfully pink. Who the hell paints walls this color? Not even an accent wall, but all the walls, from floor to ceiling. And then the ceiling’s dirty glass skylights were reflecting the offensive pink back, the sunlight sneaking in giving the higher part of the wall the image of being scribbled over with a highlighter.

I suggested, letting go of his hand on our approach to the counter. The parlor was small and decorated in soft pink and baby blue. There were only a few booths, decorated in the same colors, along with some sunshine yellow and white swirls. There was a menu painted in mint green on a blackboard behind the counter with several depictions of cones in neon lights mounted on the walls.
