THE PROWL OF THE ICE

THE PROWL OF THE ICE

"You always were too smart for your own good. It’s a shame you chose the wrong dog to follow." "Evan," I spat, my hand moving toward the silver-laced scalpel in my pocket. "I should have known you were behind this. Still bitter about the Quinn bloodline casting you out?" "I'm not bitter, Jack. I'm ambitious. And tonight, I’m the one who puts the 'Great Alpha' to sleep. Permanently." He lunged, his claws extending, and I realized then that the game on the ice was just a distraction. The real fight was under the floorboards, in the dark, where the wolves truly hunted.

His Unknown Mate

His Unknown Mate

Before the date of the pack visit, Ice has returned. He could already tell something happened between them. It’s just a hint of awkwardness but he managed to pick it up just fine. He knew the two of them well enough to distinguish their odd behavior. Ice has no wolf, therefore no mate. He never joined these pack visits, but he reminded Clyde again. He hasn’t asked yet what happened while he was gone, so what he said was pretty much a general warning for his brother; he reminded him not to overdo anything.

SHE'S THE LUNA I WANT

SHE'S THE LUNA I WANT

Ice was whimpering while low rumbles were coming out of Zero’s throat. Zero laid his body on the ground, and Ice did the same when she stopped in front of my wolf. They were submitting to each other. They stayed nose to nose for a few seconds before I reminded my wolf that we needed to run as Catherine and our family were waiting. Zero began licking Ice’s face before he stood up and licked every part of her body. The moment Ice stood up, Zero nudged her in the direction where my family ran, and Ice understood. Ice sprang forward before Zero followed after her until they were running side by side.

I still don’t get the claiming. If they are fated and accept each other they don’t have to go but if they are alpha blood then even if you find your fated you still have to go through the claiming. So they would’ve had to either way!

This was the first book I read in this series, and I have to say I was truly drawn to it. I enjoyed reading it immensely. I appreciated the character development, even though I found myself frustrated with some of the characters at times. However, the story concluded better than I had anticipated.

Return of The Rejected Omega

Return of The Rejected Omega

Stolen. The ice cave is a jagged scar in the glacier’s flank, its entrance half-buried under drifts. I dig with bare hands, the cold searing my fingertips raw. Inside, the walls glisten like the throat of some primordial creature, veins of cobalt and iron ore threading through the ice. Lira huddles in the deepest recess, her body swallowed by a nest of mangy pelts. Fox, maybe. Wolf. Discards. “Viktor?” Her voice is a moth’s wing, brittle and fraying.

His Son, Her Secret

His Son, Her Secret

“The jaguar sleeps next to me and protects me from nightmares.” I turned my head against the pillow. “How do you know he likes siberia?” “He likes snow. He told me so,” he replied with total confidence. “He’s made of wood.” Max shrugged. “Still mysterious.” Pascha let out a laugh from his side of the bed, running a gentle hand across Max’s back. “I’m gonna tell you all about my trip to Siberia!” Max sat up with a burst of energy. “Uncle Igor took me to look for reindeer! And Clara made soup from forest mushrooms, even though Mischa said it tasted like dinosaur feet!”

Her Alpha King

Her Alpha King

As I took small bites of my meal, my mind wandered back to the book's descriptions. When breakfast was finally over, I excused myself politely and headed back to the garden. I retrieved the book from its hiding place and found a secluded spot where I could read in peace. The more I read, the more I realized how much had been lost to history. The white wolves were not the monsters they had been made out to be. They were beings of incredible power and kindness, who had only sought to live in harmony with others.

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

How to Avoid Death on a Daily Basis

“I don’t know. Daddy says they protect the city, but I don’t see how. They never do anything.” My finger stopped on a worn out book. The faded writing on the spine said Beasts Of The Wild. I pulled it out and flipped it open in the middle. There was a drawing of a yeti-looking creature called a yowg. The description gave details of height, size and hair colour. Dietary information and habitats were also included. I flicked through more pages and found more creatures, some of which I was familiar with. The names, at least. Unfortunately, the book wasn’t organised into alphabetical order, so I had to search a number of pages before I found what I was looking for: Mouse King.

The Ice King's Secret Mate

The Ice King's Secret Mate

My chest tightened at the sight of her, safe and smiling like nothing in the world could touch her. “Mama!” she said, reaching for me. I took her from him and held her close for a moment. She was the only person who could calm my racing heart. “Hey, baby,” I murmured. “We got ice cream,” she exclaimed excitedly. “And I didn’t spill it this time.” “That’s good,” I answered, forcing a small smile. Rosa appeared from the hallway. “Come, Millie. Let’s get you cleaned up.” Millie nodded and slid out of my arms, taking Rosa’s hand and heading upstairs without any fuss.

HIS BALLERINA HUMAN MATE

HIS BALLERINA HUMAN MATE

The two fighting forms came into sight once more and blood splattered across a fresh layer of snow. Warm blood melted the island and more of the white ice fell to cover it. The island was more than a layer upon layer of blood and snow with scientists dead bodies. There was a loud pained howl and sickening crunch when Brian opened up his marrow and bit into Idris's neck. As soon as I watched Idris's wolf stubble back, l felt inwardly hurt.
