It was the third time I had prompted her that we needed to start preparing for the ball tonight—otherwise, there wouldn’t be enough time for me to do her hair and makeup. Leah as usual is making babies with Spencer, such a lovely couple. Although yesterday's training wasn't what she had expected, she kept falling and missing her steps even when she just stopped dancing weeks ago. If she can't master the basic moves in ballet, her main dance would be more than difficult for her. Not scared of showing much skin, she was in her Leotard and ballet shoes with no ribbon. Louisa grinned proudly before doing a bow, the judges looked impressed too, Elena was clapping with a satisfied nod and Julius had a smile on his lips. "Miss Rochester, you're up." I had complete faith in her. "Oh, I used to be a ballerina." I heard her tell Betty one night after work. "Ballerina?" Betty asked. "Like the Swan cracker?" "It's actually Swan Lake and The Nutcracker," Sierra corrected. "Whatever," Betty replied. "The club is much better." "If you count the walking STDs," Sierra muttered. For the second time of the night, I can hardly believe I’m looking at myself. “It looks like a ballerina costume…but way fancier.” I whispered. “That was the plan. I had her take inspiration from one of yours and make it into a ballgown.” She placed her hands on my shoulder. “Now I hope you see what we’ve always seen. You’re beautiful. Inside and out.” Before I can say anything, Joy appears in front of me. “A ballerina needs her pointers,” she says as she hands me a pair of stunning square toed heels with silk strings that laced up my legs. She bent down and helps to slip them on. “Now you’re ready.”
