The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

The Heiress' Return: Six Brothers at Her Beck and Call

Wherever they appeared, the room would turn much colder than anywhere else. They looked the same as always, wearing sharp suits with work badges hanging around their necks. The tablets in their hands were displaying the Ledger of Souls. They had tattoos covering their faces, and their other hands were wrapped with spectral fetters. Those were used to bind the dead souls. They said wherever Blanc and Noir showed up, someone was definitely going to die. That was because the Ledger of Souls could display a person's lifespan. So when someone was about to die, they would appear.

I wouldn’t bother reading. The author has dragged this out and made the storyline almost unrecognizable from what it was portrayed. Instead of focusing on the lost child and the reunion with the family they have introduced stupid plots to drag the story on- and on- and on- and on!

the storyline is amazing. Love the FL. She is strong, fierce, righteous and so unaware. Landon is amazing, so supportive and heart warming tho feel sad for him he is unappreciated. I wish Fiona the best and hope she gets true love Owen never deserved her. Love grandpa Warren and Barron. It's amazing

Abel also noticed Camden's uniqueness, but Ghost Escort has its own rules: "Whatever he wants to do, we'll take him there. Even if it's a ghost, once they leave their territory before being sealed, they will attract resentment, which is not good for you living spirits." Camden at that moment, his eyes looked a bit lost. What spirit, what soul? Does that mean he's already dead? He died? Camden looked at his hand, all good, not blown off. No, he shouldn't be like this. Camden put his hand on his head, and his eyes started to turn red. Seeing this, Ivan wanted to take action. The iron chain in my hand was like it had seen a ghost, couldn't even shake it off!

The Alpha's Mute Mate

The Alpha's Mute Mate

I tried to sign to Killian, my hands moving frantically through the gestures that had become second nature to me during the years when words were impossible. "Danger," I signed, my fingers shaking with urgency. "She's here. Elara. She tried to kill me." But Killian's attention was divided between me and the crowd of pack members waiting for his acknowledgment, and my desperate signing only caught the periphery of his vision. He glanced down at my hands, his brow furrowing in concern, but I could see in his eyes that he was misinterpreting what he was seeing. The trauma of the forest, the blood magic, the visions—he thought I was hallucinating again, that my mind was playing tricks on me.

Office Survival: Everyone Logged Into the Death Game

Office Survival: Everyone Logged Into the Death Game

I paused before continuing, "You acted the same way in our past life. You had me wrapped around your finger with your honeyed words, even though you were telling everyone else that you were going to protect Riley. You swindled me out of all my resources and locked me in a warehouse to await death." Panic flickered in Frank's eyes as he seemed to recall a vague memory. However, the system didn't give him the time that he needed to sift through his hazy memories. His body disappeared in the next second. "Frank Gideon has died. His teleportation skill can be claimed." Riley and I didn't move an inch. After all, Frank's skill was utterly useless to us. … On the seventh day, the system deployed a

Declared Dead, Replaced by a Fraud

Declared Dead, Replaced by a Fraud

Then she walked up to me, viciously grinding her foot into my wound, using my blood as ink to press down her handprint. After finishing all this, she revealed a cruel smile. "Let him go," she ordered the security guards before saying to me, "John, you know? Your look of despair was just like your mother's before she died. On the day I went to court to declare you dead, I deliberately delivered the good news to your mother. Who would have thought that she'd be so frail? She passed away due to a heart attack." Nora did not have an ounce of pity on her face, only provocation.

Grandpa continued, "it means they aren't looking for the grave. It means they are looking at you. They are waiting for the moment you look away so they can claim the breath you haven't earned." As if punctuated by his words, the corpse’s hand twitched. It wasn't a muscular spasm. It was a deliberate, slow curling of fingers against the stone floor. "Run," Grandpa whispered. "To the church. Now!" The Miller brothers didn't need to be told twice. They scrambled up the stairs, but as Elias reached the top, the cellar door slammed shut with a force that shook the foundation. The lanterns flickered and died, leaving only the pale, sickly moonlight filtering through the window where I stood.

Deadly Game

Deadly Game

“His scanner is calibrated to the ambient temperature of the wet concrete. If you drop low, the cold water of the puddle will mask your thermal signature for exactly two seconds before his display recalibrates. The guard on your right is off-balance. He’s putting too much weight on his right heel to avoid slipping in the clay.” A slow, chilling wave of absolute clarity washed over my mind. The panic, the tears, the desperate wife who had begged him to live in that closet —all of it vanished, replaced by the cold, calculating void of the Ghost. "Which one has the radio?" I whispered under my breath, making it look like a quiet, desperate prayer to the men in front of me.

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Sir Ares, Goodnight!

Jenson reluctantly held back his temper and said, “Well, explain it then.” Savannah said, “The skulls represent death, yet the lotus represents redemption. The black on all sides of the card means that it can never be disclosed to the public. This means that one of your close relatives who has come back to life from the dead is a healer who rescues people from hardships. But this person’s identity can never be disclosed. Otherwise, it’ll cause a bloodbath.” Jenson’s eyes that were initially filled with impatience were now replaced by surprise. The person Savannah was referring to was obviously Baby Zetty.

When i first started reading this book, it was hard to get into at first but then I couldnt put it down! I fell in love with it. Yes the english is somewhat hard to understand at some points but the plot and the characters are to die for. Although I do hope that Jay finds out that Zetty is his child

The Secret Organization

The Secret Organization

Bewildered at the sudden attack, his defeated opponent looked back and shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! I THOUGHT YOU'RE OUT!" It is Jeonghan's third tactics. It called, "Dead Man's Walk." It is an old school trick that is very risky but rarely works. All you have to do is to act dead then shoot the opponent when he laid down his guard. And that's what the second heir did. "I didn't say that I'm out," Jeonghan chuckled. "What the hell!" His annoyed enemy complained. He took off his mask and glared at Jeonghan. "This is CHEATING!"

The Hybrid of Lost River

The Hybrid of Lost River

“Ah, yes. Reid. Please initial here to show that you are aware you can only feed from willing donors.” I took the feathered-spelled pen and signed on the box next to where she was showing. “And here to agree, only to fight if it’s in self-defense. If you should kill, it will forfeit your life via the Black Death Plague that will be spelled over you. This will lift as soon as you leave our community.” “Oh, goody, the Black Death this time,” I said to her sarcastically and thought back to the last time I was here. I believe it was Bloody Shits of Death or something similar. If I had to pick, I would go with the Black Death Plague.
