Theo turned his head, resting his forehead against my collarbone. I tightened my grip on his waist, inhaling his clean, warm scent of cedar and vanilla.
"He is going to call the vote," Theo whispered against my skin.
"He has no choice," I told him, pressing a firm kiss to the crown of his head. "The game is ours."
