If being the villain was the only way to stay in her story, then I would play the part gladly. I reached for her again, my hand trembling not with anger this time, but despair.

“She just told him.” “She told him we broke the mirror and the vial,” I murmur, voice flat. “Bad me. Bad Sonia. We’re the villains now, huh?” I don’t even bother lowering my voice. I want her to hear me. I want everyone to hear me. We’ve played nice. We followed rules. And all it’s done is cost us everything. I’m done with that. But if we retaliate, we are the villains, the monsters. We should be hunted and killed and that’s ok?! Why?!”

Just barking orders made me want to break into a happy dance. Raynor may have had his shit planned out, but he didn’t know what we were up to. And he was not ready for what was going to hit him! Nobody really knew who we were. And I made sure it stayed that way. We were better off known as the evil wolves; the red-eyed maniacs who destroyed and brought about the apocalypse. We were the sword of the devil.

Ava asked. "No, there isn't. Once you have taken a sip of blood as a vampire, you can't go back." Evena answered. Ava groaned and hit her head on the table. "I am doomed."
