Alpha's Dirty Secrets

Alpha's Dirty Secrets

*Never judge a friend by what they give, but of how much of themselves they give* *Editing magic performed by KJ24 and Shyqash, plus contributions by the regular gang of brigands and neer-do-wells* *There is a bit of mangling of the Iliad going on. My apologies to Homer and the countless singers before him who carried the Iliad down through the dark centuries until the Greeks figured out how writing works* (From the floor of Katrina's office)

Indian Queen Of Roman Crown

Indian Queen Of Roman Crown

I hope it helps. There was pin drop silence in the room as Aurelius and Atticus were solemnly listening to the information provided by Augustus. Finding everyone's focus on the map, Augustus continued, " we should first focus on Latina and should defeat them first. After conquering them, real battle would start because then out of Naples or Sicily, we would meet our strongest enemy in the battlefield. On top of it, King Victor's army would also pose as a threat to us. Now coming to the answer of your question, we would start our voyage after two days. "

The Destroyer

I pointed out. As if to act as an example, Hypatos waved with his stump of an arm. He is an excellent example of how an Ares soldier can be injured. He’s lucky the chimera he faced all those years ago only took his arm. I remember the carnage the last chimera left in Pella and how many lives were lost to it, including someone important to Ismene-Eirene. “As heir, I need a project. This could be that project.” I shrugged. I wasn’t going to say my interest is that it would make a valid reason to see Ismene-Eirene and spend time with her.

A very good read but the ending was suddenly abrupt. After not having an update for longer than normal, I came to check the comments to see if others were clamoring for updates only to see that the story status now said completed. That said, I hope to see other stories set in this world.

What a brilliant and enjoyable read. Fantastic characters, great storyline, definitely a book I could not put down and would happily keep reading if there were more chapters! Looking forward to reading a sequel very soon in the future, thank you author!

UPRISING

he gestured towards the gruesome trophies, "are the proof of my loyalty to Athena." The soldiers hesitated, uncertain about the situation unfolding before them. Ganicus, despite his initial shock, assessed the scene and realized that Alcides might be an unexpected ally. "Explain yourself quickly," Ganicus demanded, lowering his arm to halt the soldiers from attacking. In a succinct yet convincing manner, Alcides recounted the ambush at the Euphrates sea by Thracian soldiers, painting Rhesus and the senator as conspirators against Athena. He detailed his decision to turn against them and eliminate the threat, showcasing the severed heads as evidence.

Beyond Night

Beyond Night

The orange mass of Pict humanity seemed to flatten out on the opposite edge of the forest and began to sweep towards them. Quintus raged and ordered them in, seeing a rear guard still formed and getting ready to hold in lines against the Picts. As they ran fast into the field of battle, the Picts let go a great war cry and ran forward at a rapid pace. August entered the fight, stabbing the nearest Greyman and swinging his shield hard, maiming many other creatures as he ran past, trying to get to a section of the gutted army where the shield walls still looked to mean something. Somewhere in the mix, he lost sight of Porcius. The big Greek ran toward the Picts like he knew where he was going.

The Loyal Spartan

The Loyal Spartan

My Dearest Saea, Do not mistake this letter’s brevity for a lack of feeling. Every moment I’m not fighting, I’m thinking of you. I have fought alongside Androkles, and though we are holding our own, our victories are not the end. This battle is a long and bloody struggle. Don’t wait for me; live your life. With every breath I take, I fight to return to you. That is my promise. All my love, Hypatos

The Lycan King's Curse

The Lycan King's Curse

I was just as eager to embrace the role, envisioning a future where we'd lead our pack together with strength and unity. The memory of that fateful day tore through my mind like a relentless tempest, each detail etched in my consciousness with agonizing clarity. The battle against Fenrir's warriors had been nothing short of hellish, the deafening guttural growls and anguished howls of defiance echoing through the air. Amid the chaos, I caught sight of Elias, his eyes ablaze with rage and grief as he witnessed his father's fall. His heartrending cry tore through my soul, but before I could reach him, he was already charging towards Fenrir without a second thought.

Love In The Game

Love In The Game

Even though Claire was able to dodge, the flames felt quite hot on Claire's body. "Tell me if you have an idea, Leon!" exclaimed Claire. "Who defeated the Chimera?" Leon instead asked Claire. Of course, because Claire was wearing the character Athena, the all-knowing goddess of wisdom. Claire snorted softly. Now her tears began to turn into anger. Angry at Boston Hopkins. “The Bellerophone who defeated the Chimera. With a javelin while riding a Pegassus!" exclaimed Claire.
