letters that staved

letters that staved

Each stroke was a whisper of freedom, a rebellion against the rigid lines of expectation. Yam, on the other hand, was a quiet presence by the shelf, his notebook resting gently in his lap. He was sorting through a stack of unsent letters, each one a fragment of his heart, a piece of his soul laid bare. Some were addressed to no one, mere echoes of thoughts that had never found their voice. Others were too raw, too vulnerable, their edges frayed with emotion. But one letter, creased from countless rereadings, its ink faded in parts, seemed to pulse with a life of its own. It felt like it belonged outside the page now, ready to be set free.

Entrapment

Entrapment

I was a detective, deciphering each clue. Did the writing look like it could be hers? It could. It was similar, feminine. However, the wording made me skeptical. Fuck skeptical. I don’t know how in the fuck they knew about the rules, but in my heart, I knew this letter wasn't written or even dictated by my Charli. "Yes?" I finally replied, pulling my gaze away from the letter and narrowing it toward the guard. "Miss Collins said to tell you that the letter is self-explanatory and to please leave."

Until The Last Day

Until The Last Day

“She wrote letters, fox…dozens of them, and none got to you. None of them had stamps because she didn’t send them.” Vincent growled slowly, each word scraping against his throat. “You're lying.” The therapist simply reached into his coat and pulled out a stack of folded letters tied with a black string. Vincent froze, his breath catching in his throat. The man threw the letters onto the desk, and they spread out like wings. Each page was filled with Camela's handwriting, and every line oozed with sadness. Vincent snatched one up, tearing through the string that held it together. His eyes moved fast across the page.

Love and Seduction

Love and Seduction

Here I am, in Richard's arms, watching him sleep peacefully. It's strange for me to be in this position, since after my disastrous marriage, I closed myself off to romantic relationships. I dedicated myself completely to my ex-husband, and he ended up cheating on me. But with Ricardo it's different, he attracts me in a way that I can't explain. He is extremely handsome and knows exactly how to bring me to ecstasy in bed. It's hard to resist this kind of seduction, but I know I have to be careful not to get too involved.

SEDUCED BY THE DEVIL

SEDUCED BY THE DEVIL

The sound of heavy metal doors clanging shut echoed through the corridors, a stark reminder of the grim reality of life behind bars. Finally, they reached the visitation room, a small, dimly lit space with bare walls and a row of metal chairs bolted to the floor. Luna's hands trembled slightly as she took a seat opposite the grim-faced guards who stood watch over Natalie and Mary. As Natalie and Mary were brought into the room, Luna's heart clenched at the sight of the two women who had caused her so much pain. Natalie's face was etched with bitterness and resentment, while Mary's eyes betrayed a flicker of remorse amidst the defiance.

The Luna Choosing Game

The Luna Choosing Game

Jane Above Storymy boss kissed me
He scooched closer to me to peer at the letter over my shoulder. “Hubris,” I said. “Even so… This…” Nicholas was at a loss for words. Julian whistled. “It’s damn incriminating.” In my hands, I held a letter addressed to Terry, welcoming him to the underground organization. The letter was dated back a few years, long enough that he very well could have been the man to tempt Jane over to the darkness. Disgust and hatred swirled in my gut. “Do you recognize that signature?” Nicholas asked.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY!! This book is almost 600 chapters and it’s not even close to ending. Read the first 20 chapters then skip to about 550 because the rest is going in circles and making out and dry h*mping in closets And Piper almost dies 50 times. Nick won’t claim her. Now your caught up

Put 5 stars so my comment stays at top. This book is literally never-ending and I feel is just becoming a cash grab. The same scenarios keep repeating themselves in different ways and the plot does not progress. We're at 589 chapters in and only NOW seem like we're POSSIBLY getting some progression.

The Wolf's Mate, Vampire's Bride (Against All Odds Duology)

The Wolf's Mate, Vampire's Bride (Against All Odds Duology)

“You came!” “Yes,” I sat on the bed beside her and gave her the letters. “I found out that Vandal writes in poems. Not everything, but ones that he doesn’t want others to understand or find out about.” I pointed out a few letters to her. “Like this one. It sounds like a love letter with a tragic ending but it’s actually about a vampire guard who’d fallen in love with a slave girl. It’s an execution order. And this here,” I brought up another letter. “That’s about a slave transfer to a facility in Canada where all slaves are drained of blood and killed.”

The Seduction of Imogen

The Seduction of Imogen

Imogen wanted to scream because she didn't want to look at it. Grace under pressure, she muttered to herself. I must be graceful if they are vulgar. The young heiress took a deep breath and looked down again at the elegant cream-colored envelope that contained her death sentence. With trembling hands, she unfolded the card with its neat nuptial script and looked at the beautiful faces smiling at each other. Taking another deep breath, she started to read the introduction at the first page. "You are cordially invited to the Ayala-Manuel wedding…" Vivian who was home from her business trip in Amsterdam looked at her only daughter from her seat at the head of the dining table. She stopped butte

Seduction & Betrayal

Seduction & Betrayal

He injected her with an amount that allowed her to by paralysed but aware of everything. He undressed himself and laid his clothes neatly on the end of the bed, while he waited for the sedative to kick in. He retrieved five scarves from her closet, he then proceeded to tie her to the bed so she couldn't move if the drug wore off early. Once she was secured to the bed he woke her up to gag her. As soon as the gag was in place he positioned himself above her. He made sure that she was fully aware of what was about to happen to her. Her fear was an aphrodisiac to him and this was one little pleasure he afforded himself. He ran his hand up her thigh to her stomach and then finally landing
