she hissed, her voice insistent, and I waited until he glanced back at me to try to link Thane again. 'Derrick's alive, Valerie's answering to him,' I sent, then watched with satisfaction as both their faces contorted in horrified shock after seeing my eyes go blank, clearly falling for the implication that the triplets had somehow prevented their concoction from working. In truth, I had no idea how or why it hadn't worked as much as they'd expected, but it was currently playing into my favour, and I intended to milk it for all it was worth.

Janine acted like she owned the office, Lisa and Lily were avoiding her but Lisa had the oddest feeling that she was trying to reach out to Lisa. Lisa recently heard from Ella-who was at Dong city right now. Ella asked Lisa to have dinner with her this weekend, it was a good chance to renew acquaintance with old friends. Earlier this year Ella returned home to give birth to her baby girl Sunshine, leaving her husband Lawrence abroad alone. After having the child, she stayed at home and took care of the baby.

I grew up alongside the three most powerful young CEOs in Ashford. They once said that anyone who made me shed a single tear would never work in Ashford again. But today, because of a broke college student, they shoved me into an icy lake in fourteen-degree weather. "Vivienne, you're so dramatic. A little cold water won't kill you." Harrison stood on the shore, his expression ice-cold. "But Chloe can't handle being hurt." I shivered uncontrollably as I watched them gather that girl into their arms. The same men who used to panic if I so much as frowned now looked at me with nothing but disgust. I climbed onto the bank. I didn't cry or make a scene. I simply pulled out my phone and dialed the

AI3 spoke ready to talk business with her. "What's the matter?" She asked him plainly. "The Female lead is now a Zombie, bitten by the male lead as you requested. Miss Mars also turned to one when she was completing her punishment " AI3's voice was heavy. "What does it have to do with me?" Rose asked as she had a bad premonition. "You destroyed the order of the world and a new protagonist has to be made" "Who is it?" "That cute boy that you almost killed. Mr. Jonas brother_" AI3 paused, "But there is a mission you have to complete before he can be made the protagonist"

Before she could catch her breath, Tiana lunged at her and strangled her neck. "You damned old hag!" she shrieked. "How dare you put the house up as collateral? This house was supposed to be my son's!" I floated midair, watching their chaos unfurl like a spectator at play. In fact, I had already discovered Dorothy's gambling habit three years ago. But before I could tell Andrew, he dragged me off to the countryside. Now, it all made sense. Three years ago, Dorothy had lied that she saw Stella push Tiana down the stairs because she'd been afraid that I'd expose her gambling addiction. She acted first, using the lie to drive me and Stella away.

a small voice piped up from behind. Zara turned to see her daughter, Mia, climbing off a plush leather sofa. Mia had inherited Zara's soft features but had a fiery temper that could scare grown adults. Trailing right behind Mia was Liam, the quietest of the triplets, clutching a tablet that he had probably just used to hack into the airport's Wi-Fi. Triplets. The doctors had been shocked. Zara had been terrified. But now, looking at the three of them, a fierce, burning heat replaced the cold memories in her chest. They were her life. Her armor. And nobody was ever going to hurt them.

I said, ignoring her exaggerated laments. "For a house, yes, but for a small Beach vacation house.....I don't think so; this is not normal." She whispered dramatically beside me. I rolled my eyes. The White, massive beach house looked as though it was taken from a cinematic fantasy book. It looked simple and still magnificent. We waited for a minute outside after the guards got our names to ring us in. The second Damien stepped out to greet us, the triplets ran toward him, and he scooped them both into his arms like they weighed nothing.

"But others would see the strength in it. Three leaders working together instead of one ruling alone. Three different skills, three different perspectives." "You handle business and strategy," Lucas said, understanding dawning. "Hayden handles security and military. I handle technology and innovation." "And Miranda holds us together," Kyson finished. "She is the center. We are the support." Miranda's throat tightened. "What if I fail the test? What if I die tomorrow and none of this matters?" The three brothers looked at her. Really looked at her. Kyson crossed the room and knelt in front of her. "You will not fail."

“Which means this is bigger than a dismantled criminal faction trying to have a last impact. There’s a third party.” The night felt very quiet around us. “We need to show this to Margret,” Thorian said. “We need to show this to everyone,” I said. He took the device carefully and we walked back through the build site where the framework was still standing and the stakes were still in the ground and somewhere overhead the first stars were coming out, and I held onto the feeling of the evening’s victory for as long as I could before the weight of what we had just found took over completely.

It was a few days ago and Anindira began to look less excited. After every breakfast, the Trio Jaguar was always jumping up and down, hoping their father would take them out. But apparently, again they were abandoned. Anindira did not understand what her three children were saying, but she knew that her children were sadly waiting for their father to take them to see the outside world that they had only seen from the window.
