Moaning wasn't what woke me this time. It was a smile. A wrong one. A smile with a crooked lower tooth-on Lina's face. I froze mid-step. I had only walked past her in the hallway, just a normal morning, just a normal fake greeting on my lips, when she turned slightly and smiled at Carl. A slow, flirty, sickening smile. And there it was. Crooked. Lower. Tooth. My throat tightened instantly. No. No. No.

He parted his lips to speak, but Doctor Mikes approached us with a smile on his face, causing us to give our argument a break. “What's with the smile on your face? My mate is in there and sick; you should be doing something,” I retorted as I felt the mask run out of patience.

It looked really creepy. He raised a human hand. Seeing Ms. Anastasia, he gave a terrible smile that made all his teeth visible. His lips stretched unnaturally wide, revealing a row of yellowed teeth that looked like they hadn't been brushed in years. The corners of his mouth turned up in a sinister grin, and his eyes glinted with malice. It is a smile that sends shivers down the spines of those who see it, a smile that promises nothing but trouble and pain.

I stood in the middle of the living room, facing the security camera's blinking red light, practicing my smile again and again. Looking into the lens, I spoke softly, like I was leaving a message for the Mom who'd watch it someday. "Mom, look. I practiced the perfect smile again today. "Lift the corners of my mouth fifteen degrees and show eight teeth. The books say that's the most sincere smile. The one that makes people feel warm. "I've practiced so much my face hurts... but that's okay. "When you watch this tomorrow... will you tell me I did a good job? "Will you finally believe I wasn't lying to you?"

Jones muffled, chuckling intermittently. He let out a smile again flashing his tobacco stained teeth(I really messed up in his storyline). I let a small chuckle as his smile reminded me of an emoji, the emoji's smile had all 36s showing in a funny manner. P.S: let's be reminded that the colour of his teeth and that of the cute smiley emoji can in no way,come into mind at this comparison, that subject is significantly abrogated from this context as we limelight the focus; the similarity between both smiles.

Smile tried to help him stand again. He bit his molar teeth and toned down his voice to show his sincerity even though it was full of hardship. “They are an evil schemer, but they are not a devil. They had their reasons. They should do a good thing with the power they had, instead, they killed my brothers and sisters.” “I know, I know.” Smile’s face was distorted, and wrinkles formed everywhere. Sleepy nodded a few times. “We will reform them. Please.” “No matter how much I hated them, I still love them. Even though this mouth denies them, this heart is against the idea.”

Your welcome. But just so you know, I'm immune to your charm. I see right through you." I say, cocking an eyebrow, looking away, and then smile at him.

I raised up my brows ushering her to give me an answer. When she said nothing, a smile crept up my lips. “I will take your silence as approval. Friends then” I pulled my hand for a handshake. She slowly pulled hers out. We held each other's gaze. “Since we’re okay now, at least smile” I got a glare from her in return. “A sick person doesn't smile” “From which source. From what I know, it helps in recovering. The expression on your face is scary. Like-” “Like a ghost right?”

It was dirt covered and rough with many permanent wrinkles covering his skin. His eyes where half closed, leaving them into tight slits as he continued to babble nonsense to himself. His gums showed through his lips. There where no teeth present as he smiled in a stupor at us. The smell coming off his body was enough to make any sane person run away. The smell of infection wafted into my nose, permanently staining the smell of a living rotting corpse into my memory. I furrowed my brows together tightly as I held my grunts of displeasure, to myself.

The longer he took to answer, the more I could feel myself folding in, shutting down. Quick as a snake, he leaned forward, nipped my bottom lip. "Ever since I first showed up with Kiema, I knew you all were mine. The only way I'm leaving is if I'm kicked out. And then killed. Because I'll keep showing up like a..." his gaze went unfocused. He smiled as he zeroed in on me again. "Like a medicine resistant bacterial infection." The laugh escaped my mouth before my brain processed his remark. He smiled at me. "You should smile more. It looks sexy on you."
