“You’re still dating that scum? How well do you know him? How well do you know his routine? His hobbies?” I open my mouth to defend Harlan, but the dark, sinister look in Drake’s eyes has me rethinking that decision. “I have no idea what you’re talking about. Harlan is the best…” The rest of my words fade into thin air as Drake retrieves a mini-tablet from his pocket, fiddles with it for a second and slides it to me over the table. I’m not sure why, but dread sits heavy in my chest as I lower my eyes to the video playing on the screen.

“Mr. Draco’s circulatory system was damaged, yet he is still able to maintain his master-level prowess. May I presume that he was a grandmaster at the peak of his health?” Mr. Draco narrowed his eyes and got on his knees. “Dr. Kayson, I beg you to heal me! I, Skye Draco, am willing to forever be your follower!” Mr. Draco’s full name was Skye Draco. “Are you the “Dragon Slayer” who has gone missing for the past few years?” Jeremy was surprised.

Drake pondered deeply. Drake Robert was sure of one thing this time. He was not going to leave Chicago until Ian Bryant signs the deal. “He should have a weak point.” Drake mumbled. He is determined to make Ian Bryant agree to his demands even if it involves doing some background check on him. “I am certain someone like Ian Bryant must have a secret! Or maybe I should entice him with a lady?” Drake thought. Whichever way it is, all Drake knows is that he must always get what he want!

Drake says, chuckling and shaking his head. I perk my head up and smile a little. This is the first bit of hidden information Drake has offered about Kain. The doctor's earlier examination had left no room for doubt. Drake knew Kale had just lost his judgment in the heat of the moment. "I understand you're worried about me," Drake continued. "But she's just a woman. No matter how clever she might think she is, she can't outsmart me here in Orkgate." "Yes, sir," Kale replied, his voice reluctant but obedient.

Drake makes a thunderous howl as he sees the leader of the Hunters hurt Emily again and again with a metal chain. 'Drake. . . let them hurt me,' Emily entered his mind again. 'Let them torture me. . . just run away from the forest, save yourself,' Emily added weakly. 'No! Stop commanding me, Emily! That's not the only thing you get from me once I bring you back to the mansion!' he sounded mad, with no emotions at all. Drake killed the hunter mercilessly. He didn't let them escape from his raging eyes. He keeps on beheading those hunters who tried to get his way.

Although Edwards gang members were very excited and being their ruthless selves as they searched everywhere for clues and answers, they were still a step behind from those Drake was using for the investigation. However, they were bound to catch up with Drake's people and even beat them and get the most informative out of the investigation. They were just that good. Drake in his study had requested an hourly update, because of how interesting things were going. "What do you mean she is not American and her records were forged?" Drake slammed the files his ever faithful personal assistant and partner since highschool had just delivered to him. But despite the sudden outburst, Seth remained unf
