He did it again, further up her outer thigh. “You’re ticking me,” she complained. She reached down to swat him away only to see the biggest spider she had ever seen crawling up her leg, probably preparing to launch an attack on her. It was too dark to see the details, but Irene was sure it was a beastly creature.

The living room was inside, and the bedroom was even further in, but Christine suddenly felt the fluctuations of magic, which immediately triggered the 'Mage Armour' on the magic ring on her left hand, and she immediately flew out of the room. But it was already too late. A huge spider web covered her, Nazan the mage and the maid. It was a second level spell called 'Spiderweb'. This spell can create many layers of tough, sticky silk threads. These threads are similar to spider silk, but much thicker and stronger. They will entangle living creatures within range.

He even had a spider crawl on his face but he didn't cry. “I would have cried! I am scared to death of spiders.” Lily tells him, mustering up a smile for him. “Anything with eight legs is a creature that I don't want to mess with. He has six more than me so he is clearly superior. I shall know my place and not mess with him.”

Crown pointed toward a giant crab-like creature that resembled a monstrous spider. Ceynol carried them closer, and both he and Jade froze as they read the description. She shrugged. “I never taught them. Crown learns everything on their own. They self-study.” His eyebrows lifted in surprise. “Really?” Jade nodded. “They prefer learning over playing. I don’t know why, but Crown always chooses knowledge over fun. They want to understand the world more than anything.”

Jack said quietly. "What about dozens of spiders?" Lexi asked, staring straight ahead. Jack chuckled. "I can take on hundreds of spiders." Lexi looked up at him. Fear penetrated those lovely dark eyes. "I'm being serious. What about a dozen spiders?" Jack looked back over her head into the tunnel. Glittering eyes sparkled back at him from all sides. Behind him, the taps of large spider legs approached. A quick look back showed him the large spider beast was closing in behind them.

Matthew asked. For that question, the presence got closer to them and slowly revealed itself. It was a spider that had the torso and head of a human female on top of the spider’s torso. The spider was black with dark brown hair like a tarantula and the woman had fair and white skin with black hair. Her black hair reached her waist and she had eight eyes on her face, two of them normal human eyes with red irises and the other six were red semispheres placed around her main eyes. The spider’s head had the same feature only that they were all red semispheres. In short, it was a mixture of beauty and monstrosity in one body with it going more on the monster side.

She snapped at him. He wanted to argue but he knew she was right but for the love of her, there was only one insect he couldn't stand and that was spiders. Just the fact that it was staring at him with his eight eyes scared the shit out of him. Why would nature even believe that something needs so many eyes? He had two and he could see just fine. Also, he could never understand why they had to crawl like that, couldn't they simply walk normally! Just thinking about them were giving him cold sweats.
