she pressed. I took a deep breath, a blush creeping up my cheeks. This wasn't just any story; it felt like the beginning of something special, and I wanted to savour every detail. "Well," I began, pausing for dramatic effect, "it all started with a wrong turn..." A collective gasp from my friends sent chills of excitement down my spine. Leaning in closer, I launched into the story, weaving a tale of a chance encounter, an unexpected connection, and a spark that ignited something beautiful in my life.

I insisted. He was hesitant at first, but I watched as he repositioned himself, waiting until he was comfortable before I began. “Once upon a time, there was a girl named Dorothy who lived in a, uh... 'pack’... called Kansas....” And I proceeded to tell him a story I’d heard a thousand times... with a few amendments, of course.

But now… “Great! Now that’s done let me explain the rules of the new game. You are going to tell me a story. All you have to do is survive the story. Simple right?” Of course, it was not as simple. Anderson knew very well that anything concerning a demon would not be as simple. What was worse, this particular demon was very different. So, who knew what twisted game of story telling the demon had in mind? Anderson nodded warily at the demon’s enquiry. Whatever was coming he knew very well the odds would be against him as such he had his guard up. It was funny; He was rather feeling like the trapped one.

Louis knew his junior very well. The older man finally sighed and smiled. “Did you eat so late that you got sick to your stomach? Shall I order some food here?” Alain finally looked back at Louis. He felt grateful that his senior did not pressure him to tell the story. Honestly, he wasn’t ready to talk right now. In a situation like this, he was grateful because Louis was the first to meet him. His senior was very understanding of his condition even though he didn’t tell him anything. Perhaps it would be a different story if he met Brielle. The girl surely would force him to spill everything. She wasn’t a bad girl, but she couldn’t read the situation sometimes.
