Jack looked up through the glass skylight of the atrium. Descending slowly through the storm, ignoring the wind, was a monstrosity. It was twice the size of the others, carved from black obsidian—volcanic glass. Its wingspan was thirty feet wide. And its body was covered in glowing purple sigils that drank the energy of the Aegis cannons. "Obsidian," Jack cursed. "Volcanic glass doesn't have a crystalline grain structure like granite. The resonance won't shatter it." "It's diving!" Marcus yelled.

Well, shit. My first thought was to courier them back, so that I didn't have to come face to face with that guy. But the couriers didn't want to send something so expensive, in such a short distance.
