We rocketed down the dark exit tunnel just as massive slabs of concrete began falling from the ceiling behind us. The climate of Long Tooth was used to heavy and dark winters, but White Falls had a bit of a higher year round temperature, being more south. They’d never seen three feet of snow dumped all at once.
